My plane had finally landed, and I was walking towards the exit of the airport. I was neutral about seeing Charlie know that I had really realized that it was happening. One good thing about Charlie was that he didn't hover, so I had my privacy, unlike my erratic hare-brained mother who always wanted to know everything about me all the time.

I had walked out the airport when I saw Charlie, he was slightly smiling, a look that made me feel safe and protected, something that only my dad could do. I walked up to his car and gave him a hug. Then I opened the trunk of his police car and put my things inside except for my cactus which I had taken with me. Continued to walk around the car then sit down on the passenger seat.

-TIME SKIP TO WHEN THEY GOT HOME-

Charlie: "I cleared some shelves out for you in the bathroom."

Bella: "Oh right, one bathroom."

I continue to unpack as Charlie does whatever he usually does. We eventually go to the nearby diner, and I get the Garden Burger and my dad gets the steak. We finish our food, and we go home. When we walk into the living room my dad starts talking to me about the nearby high school even though he knows I will be going there anyways.
