Eclipse

Chapter 6

I walk into the office and who do I see? None other than Edward himself. What is he doing? You might ask. He is trying to switch his biology class just to not have to sit with me. "I'm afraid you'll have to stay in biology." The lady at the desk said. "Fine. Just... have to endure it." Edward replied as he stormed out of the room.

     -TIMESKIP TO THE NEXT MORNING-

I planned to confront him. To know what his problem was. But he never showed. As the rest of the Cullens walked up the stairs, Alice and Jasper holding hands, and Rosalie walking in front of Emmett.

The next day another no show. another few days passed, and he still wasn't here. Things were getting a little, strange. The next day I walked into Biology and surprise, surprise there he was. I sat next to him, and he started to talk.

"Hello. I'm sorry, I didn't get a chance to introduce myself last week. I'm Edward Cullen. You're Bella?" He asked. "Uhm yes." I responded quietly.

The teacher started to explain what we were doing "Onion root tip cells. That's what's on your slides right now. Lable them through all the phases of mitosis, and the first partners that get it right will win... The Golden Onion."

"Ladies first?" He asked me. I took the microscope. "You were gone." I told him.

"Yeah, I was out of town for a few days. Personal reasons." He responded.

"Prophase." I said sliding the microscope to him.

"Do you mind if I look?" He asked. I shrugged as if saying "do what you want. "It's prophase." He spoke.

"Like I said." I responded, annoyed.

We finished the assignment and won The Golden Onion. I didn't care about "The Golden Onion" I just wanted to know why he was acting buddy buddy with me. I was pissed that I had to sit next to him even though the seat next to Jake was empty.

   -TIME SKIP TO THAT AFTERNOON AFTER SCHOOL-

It was gloomy outside and was drizzling. There were puddles of rain from the heavy rain earlier. I walked to my car and put my backpack on it and turned around to look at Edward who was all the way on the other side of the lot.  My friend's car came speeding and swerving all over the place, like he was drunk while driving. He saw me and was about to crash into me he was frantically trying to turn away from me as soon as he was about to crash into me Edward practically teleported to me with how fast he was and stopped the van with his hand. It shocked me how strong he was, and my mind was racing with thoughts.

I was in a hospital next thing I know, and my dad is rushing into the room looking more panicked than ever. "Bella are you ok?" He asked worriedly. "You and I are going to talk." He told my friend angrily. "Dad I'm fine it's ok." I said trying calm him down. "No Bella. It sure as hell is not ok." I roll my eyes because quite frankly I didn't care if I got killed or not.
