I woke up dreading the fact that today was my mom's funeral and one week from today college startes i sat up and walked in the bathroom and took a shower and did my routine and washed my hair i dried off and wrapped the towel around my waist and walked out cam was in the mirror I looked at her and she walked in the bathroom i went into the room and put on my boxers and shorts and my suit pants i really wasn't looking forward to the funeral but it has to be done mom wont even get to see her grandchildren i put on my undershirt and suit shirt and tie i put my wacth on and brushed my hair the door opened and cam walked in and went in the closet i put on my belt and tucked my shirt in and grabbed my jacket and put it on a hanger and hung it on the door i put my wallet in my pocket and grabbed the keys and walked in the den and fixed me some cereal i was eating when cam came in wearing a black dress opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water and a pop tart and walked out i put my bowl up and checked the time it was 11:00 its time to go i walked in the room and she was grabbing her phone and started to walk out i put my jacket on and we walked out i stopped and grabbed her arm

"im sorry i dont wanna be mad anymore",i said looking in her eyes

"im tired to argueing trey i tired of being shut out",she said looking back in mine

"im sorry",i said kissing her she kissed back and pulled away and we walked to the car and drove to the church all the family were standing outside "im scared",i said looking at her

"its okay i got you",she said touching my hand i had to speak we got out and walked up

"hey trey",my dad said hugging me

"hey",i said back

"okay are we ready to start",julia said i stood behind my dad and cam stood behind me

"im here if you need me",she said in my ear i nodded and they opened the doors and we walked through i had my head down we had to sit in the front julia choose and open casket we reached our seats and sat down cam held my hand and paster stood up

"good afternoon",he said to everybody and they responded "we now wanna take a few minutes to let the family of this amazing woman mourn",he said i tried to hold it back cam started rubbing my back

"its okay let it out",she said i started to cry but not bawling out

"now if any friends want to come pay their respects to mrs.smith you're welcome to",he said sitting down people were walking up there and shaking our hands toney came up and shook my hand and so did taylor and so did Christian and keshun and jay and Samantha and cams mom and jackson the line was over and me and my dad had to talk he was going first he stood up and walked to the mic

" hey everybody well stacy was an amazing women and everybody loved her she gave birth do an amazing son its hard to see her go we really miss her now its her son's time to say something",he said walking back to his seat i got up and fixed my jacket and walked to the mic i looked out at everybody and my eyes landed on cam

"heyy everyone",i said smiling they all said it back"well as you know mom was an amazing woman whatever you needed she had it she did everything for me so she could give me a good life its not fair that she had to go home so early i miss her with all of my heart and i wish she was still here but i know that she's watching over me still protecting me probably cussing me out when i do something stupid i really caint say much more because everybody knew and loved her i love you mom thank you",i walked down and kissed my mom on the forehead and sat down and held cams hand she wiped my tears and smiled

"now lakesha and jackie are going to sing",pastor said they walked up there and started singing going up younder when they got through the funeral was over now we have to go bury her they closed the casket and put it on thhe rack and wheeled it out and put it in the car
