Poor kids. Azumi thought while letting out a small giggle. The students were, indeed, panicking. The whole thing about 3-A and the collapse was a setup. Azumi was now perched on the roof of another building, watching his students with amusement.
"Now, this is just cruel." A voice startled him.
"God!" He let out with a hand on his chest. "You scared the hell out of me." Keitsu turned to Shota.
"Now you know how it feels." The other man grinned and crouched next to him. "I still have no idea how the older classmates hadn't spilled about the contents of this exam."
"Well, if they're being difficult I bribe them with ice cream, but usually they keep their mouths shut because they don't want to rid the first years of the authentic experience of absolute panic." Keitsu shrugged and watched Midoriya take a deep breath.
"But they have to realize it's all an exercise at some point, no?"
"Sure, they usually figure it out in the first five minutes, but if that affects the way they approach the situation, they fail." Shota nodded with understanding. "And every student has a role in this?"
"I try to set it up that way. There are some obvious, like Uraraka, who can clear the path of the rubble, and less obvious, like Hagakure, who should be saving her strength for the resus they're about to be subjected to."
"Resus? You're using one of the fancy dummies then?"
"Exactly. The heart is gonna beat so that Jiirou can locate the body and when they pull it out there's gonna be a sudden stop, just to keep them on their toes." Keitsu smirked evilly and Shota sweat dropped. It appeared that Midoriya realized it was a test first.
"Wait. Wait! Guys, calm down!" He wasn't heard.
"SHUT UP YOU EXTRAS! THIS IS FUCKING STAGED!" Bakugou yelled.
"Bakugou should probably invest into a personal PR manager very early in his career." Keitsu sighed.
"Heh, you can say that again."
"What do you mean, Baku-bro?" Kirishima asked.
"This is the fucking rescue!" The blond boy pointed at the ruins of the building.
"That makes sense, actually. So what do we do?" Kaminari asked and Keitsu hung his head low in disappointment.
"If that kid doesn't pass I'm actually gonna cry."
"Don't. Just wait for the training camp. There you can hammer the rescue process into him."
"I'm going?"
"Yeah, didn't Nezu tell you?"
"Not yet."
"Oh. Well, surprise?" Shota shrugged and Keitsu laughed.
"Wow, they actually managed to separate themselves into roles. That's good." Keitsu proclaimed as he watched the group. They were now devided into five teams. Rescue team consisting of Uraraka, Bakugou, Todoroki, Sero, Kirishima, Asui and Mineta. Localization team, consisting of Jiro, Shoji and Koda. First-aid team: Hagakure, Mina, Kaminari, Ojiro and Iida. Damages team: Aoyama, Tokoyami, Sato and Midoriya. And a supply team with Yaoyorozu.
"That looks pretty good. Why is Mineta on the rescue team though?" Shota raised an eyebrow.
"His quirk is great for taking care of sharp corners. Trust me, the last thing you want when you're dragging an unconscious person out of a building is to bash your head open on a piece of concrete."
"Learned that from a personal experience?"
"I'd like to say I didn't but we all make mistakes." Keitsu sweat dropped as he remembered how he started cursing in his Australian accented English. (Shoutout to the 4% of readers from Australia!)
