FLORENCE CARLISLE HAD DECIDED TO LEAVE CAMP THE NEXT MORNING, SHE NEEDED THE WALK; AND THE DISTANCE. The boy she spotted last night before Rhysand's kind if not terrifying interruption had introduced himself late last evening. He had met her at the door of her courts tent and offered to walk her back to her own smaller one close to the human's section of the camp. (Her fathers planning, no doubt. He would use her to build alliances). Said dusty blonde, medium height boy had introduced himself as Jonah and was now following her on said walk out of camp.

He seemed slightly out of breath as he fought his legs to catch up with her, which made Florence chuckle slightly. He was the soldier. "Florence-" he called out, "wait-"

She turned sharply, the sun blinding her eyes instead of warming her back. Jonah smiled, and took the few seconds to catch up with her. He was wearing a dark shirt and trousers of the same colour accompanied by some expensive looking hiking boots she had no doubt one of the allied courts were responsible for. She had to give him credit, at least he was dressed better than her. She was still in the moss green dress Cora insisted she wear that morning and she was fairly certain the thorns along the woody path had already torn it.

"Waiting" she hummed pleasantly, turning to walk side by side with the man through the trees. "I thought you were a soldier."

He laughed lowly at that, something dark crossing his green eyes. "My brother is the real one."

Well, she could relate to that.

She continued to walk in silence, letting Jonah rant out into mother earth, perhaps she could discover something interesting to slip to Archer later.

"I was forced to really. Not that I don't believe in the cause, I just-" Another shrug "I'm not a soldier."

"Your brother must be proud of you."

"Sometimes, other times I think he might be too busy." Jonah paused again, caution lacing his tone. "Or too far gone, Jurian is-"

Jurian. Slow, clumsy, sweet Jonah had Jurian as a brother? Florence couldn't help but drift away slightly, lost in her own head. If she was one person away from Jurian- her brother would want to know. So would her father, although she supposed Archer would pass on the news. The old lord was once again too busy for his youngest, he barely spoke to her the night before. Barely glanced her way.

It was why she needed some distance. She had hoped, presumed that with the few human soldiers she would feel safer here. More comfortable in her skin.

She had been wrong. Surrounded by all these proud powerful fae that would be with her siblings for eternity - seeing their hardly disguised judgement at her very existence - it made her feel like a ghost again.
