*VROOM!!*
*HALT!!*
The crew had finally made it.
Outside was cold and sorrow. The time was also late, making anyone who was not paying attention fall asleep.
They made in time though, only 5 minutes early. But that would not matter, since they've been doomed the be outside.
Zen nodded at Syria, signaling her to call operater for the doors.
She pressed a green button then waited. A minute passed and no answer had come yet.
"Tsk! We're running out of time. What's taking so long?" Ken inquired fiercely.
Syria answered calmly, but was stuttering, "I don't know."
"Goddamn it!" Zen cursed, "If they don't answer we'll be stuck out here."
Syria then snapped, now showing her worry in their predicament, "Don't you think I know that?!"
"What's worry? Why aren't we going in as yet?" Alisha inquired from afar.
Syria turned around her chair to respond to Alisha, "The operator isn't answering."
"What do mean he ain't answering?" Mia said with a worried expression, "Are we too late?!"
"No, maybe. We currently have 2 minutes before curfew," Zen addressed, "Now we have 1."
"We're screwed." Jackson said without a hint of worry.
"Why you say that so calmly?" Dauntea inquired to his now new friend.
"..." Jackson looked Dauntae in the eye and then looked up at front. He then answered, "I don't know."
Dauntea stared at his worriedly with a single sweat drop sliding down his head. He then turned to look up at the front.
"Urgh, I knew we should have have left sooner," Zen said irritated, "Now we are trapped out here for the night."
"Wait, hold on. Don't loss hope yet," Syria reinsured, "We still have a few seconds left. The operator may answer in time."
Zen slightly calm down, but was still irritated, "I should have contacted the operator while we were coming."
Syria focused her vision on the 24 hour clock which was implanted in the front. Sweat poured down from her face as she looked at the clock.
She then turned to press the green button continuously.
Then the time went form 21:29 to 21:30.
"Fuck!" Zen shouted enraged.
"*Sigh*" Aiden sighed looking at the situation. He knew that they had to leave to save more skins, but he still had a grudge against Zen from selfishly leaving his comrade.
"Are you blaming yourself or are you blaming the guy you just leaved behind?!" Aiden said. His voice was steady, even though his was technically talking to his superior.
Zen tilted his head a little to glance at Aiden from the front. He then answered his bravely asked question, "I can safely say that me and him are to blame."
"Tsk!" Aiden scoffed aloud.
"I don't think we going to get contact with the operator Syria," Zen said with a serious tone, "Let's go back for Ken."
