The Kidnapping

Sky freezes at the sound of that voice. He turns to see his ex standing behind him. He feels his powers coursing through him, and he starts to gather them focusing.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Gun says, "Not if you want to see your little human friend again."

Sky bites back his fury, "Where is he?"

"With a friend of mine, one who isn't too happy with his boyfriend." Gun says. "I think you know what I want in return for his safety, but my friend also wants his demon lover to bow at his feet. So here is what's going to happen, my friend will send me an address in a little bit. Once he does, I will take you and this demon to where my friend is. Any tricks and the little human dies. If you do exactly as we say I promise the three of you won't die."

Sky didn't believe that for a minute. Sky would take Rain's place to save his life and he knows P'Phayu feels the same but if they let his ex and the Jinn call the shots most likely all three of them will die. They need a plan.

"Why don't you call this Phayu down here and we can all wait together so I make sure you don't try anything," Gun says. "Just know, if anything happens to me your friend will suffer the consequences. There are people watching us now."

Sky calls P'Pai and asks him to have P'Phayu come to the lobby. He says there is something he needs to show him. He says P'Pai should keep searching the hotel for Rain. It's imperative that the werewolf not come to the lobby with P'Phayu. He breathes a sigh of relief when he sees the demon cross the lobby by himself.

"Who is this, Sky?" P'Phayu asks.

"He is my ex." Sky says. "He says that his friend has Rain."

P'Phayu growls at this and Sky puts a hand on his arm to calm him down. "People are watching us." He tells him.

"Why don't the two of you leave your phones here? So that no one tries one of those human tricks like tracking you." Gun says.

Sky and P'Phayu both take out their phones and lay them on a side table.

"Good," Gun says. "Now we just need to wait for a few minutes."

"Is Rain safe?" P'Phayu asks.

"For now," Gun says. "Whether he remains so is up to you."

Rain tries to move but his body is frozen in place. Some sort of magic that the Jinn has used on him. As if sensing his struggles, Stop looks at him and laughs. "What's the matter, human? Can't move?" He comes over to where Rain is and gives him a triumphant look. "Today I will show your half breed lover who the loser is."

Rain tries to speak but the spell prevents him.

"Oh, I forgot you can't speak," Stop says with a sneer. He waves his hand and Rain discovers he can talk.

"You'll never defeat P'Phayu without cheating. Oh no I forgot even when you cheated you still couldn't beat him. He is worth ten of you, you are nothing but a coward." Rain yells.

Stop slaps him hard across the face causing his nose to bleed. "Coward, huh?" he wipes his hand on his shirt as if touching Rain disgusts him. "I was going to let you go, but now I think you will get the same treatment as the half breed once I am done with him."

"Don't you dare touch P'Phayu." Rain shouts, "Touch him and I'll kill you myself." The rest of what Rain tries to shout out is cut off as Stop waves his hand and Rain's voice is gone again. He can only stare at him furiously.

Gun looks at his phone as it chimes. "Excellent," he says. "Now we go to where your friend is waiting." He leads them to where a car is waiting out front and tells them to get in the back. Gun gets in the front and gives the driver the address.
