Hwang Hyunjin went through his files, finding the one Mr. Bahng asked for. He flipped through the F part of the cabinet, finally finding the file. Lee Felix. Smart detective, not too smart though. He went missing about a few months ago, and Hyunjin had not let go of this case. He needed to solve it.

Chan had asked for the file, seeing if Hyunjin had gotten farther into the case, since the people were demanding to know if he had. Nothing. Not a single lead. Hyunjins mind had always been running. Every word someone had said to him, he ran it through his mind, seeing if it connected to Felix somehow. He handed Chan the file soon enough, hoping He wouldn't make him quit on this case. He couldn't.

Chan looked at the file, opening it. He saw many notes, but none really stuck out to him. He looked up from the file, seeing Hyunjins cork board full of pictures. Full of questions that needed to be solved. There had been a red lace as well, connecting the pictures to one another.

How ironic. People always thought that these detectives only used this type of method in movies, but boy were they wrong. Usually most of the old fashioned detectives used this, but it's been coming back recently. People realized it was a bit easier to connect their thoughts like that. Chan sighed, knowing Hyunjin wouldn't give up on this case.

"Hyunjin. You know that there haven't been any leads to this case recently, right?"

"I know. I'm just stuck right now. I'm missing a piece. If I find that piece, then I can solve this case. Just give me time."

"Look, you will hate this idea, but just hear me out. Han Jisung has also been working on this case, and maybe you can partner up. It will be much easier. He might have pieces to this case that you don't have. Him and Felix were also very close."

Hyunjin looked chan in the eyes.
"Just give me a copy his file. We can figure it out then."

Chan shook his head.
"I can't do that unless I get his permission, and I have to tell him who wants it. Obviously he won't let me get one if I say your name."

Hyunjin had never ever thought he would be doing this, but he had to. How else would he get more information about Felix? He knew Han was a good person, but not to Hyunjin. Not at all. He had to say yes now, because just showing up randomly and wanting to partner up with someone he hated was weird. Suspicious. Just not a normal thing for him to do. ... Hyunjin let out a sigh.

"Have you figured out your answer yet Mr. Hyunjin?"

Hwang Hyunjin nodded.
"Yeah. I will partner up with him. But ONLY for this case. Just because me and him are solving this together doesn't mean we will be solving any other cases together."

Chan nodded.
"Thank you. I will notify him as soon as I can."

Chan left with a thankful bow. He really was glad that Hyunjin could come through and accept it.
