The man smiles and walks over to me.

"I would apologize for staring, but it would be a lie" He says.

I take a sip of my drink "Oh is that so? Why were you staring?" I ask

"I saw a pretty girl in the bar, hoping she'd turn around and notice me"

"Wanting a strangers attentions is pretty interesting don't you think? Everyone in this bar yet you want mine, why is that?"

"You're hot, you're a girl, oh and did I mention that you're hot?" he smiles and I chuckle shaking my head

"Straight to the point I like that"

He leans closer to my ear

"What do you say? We can take this back to my place"

I laugh a bit "I don't even know your name yet and you want me to take me home?"

"Mark. Mark Sloan" He reaches his hand out to me "Jules Avery"

He stands up setting his drink down.

"Well Jules, You coming or what?" He smiles flirtatiously as he makes his way to the door.

I down the rest of my drink grabbing my coat and following him out.

Before we could even make it up to his apartment we couldn't keep our hands of each other.

His kiss was smooth but passionate and lustful.

Once we got into his room....you can imagine what happened next.

The next morning I woke up next to him. I slowly sit up which he soon rolls over to face me.

I had one of his t-shirts on but I couldn't find any of my clothes.

"Hey there stranger" He jokes

"Well Good morning" I reply and he sits up

"You're even just as beautiful in the mornings" He smiles tucking my hair behind my ear before meeting his lips with mine.

We didn't pull apart instead continued. He pulled me onto his lap as his hands laid on my waist. But before we could go any further someone walked in.

"Oh god, oh god i'm so sorry!" She quickly rushes out after apologizing.

He groans "Sorry about that. That's my best friend she lives across the hall" He explains and we both get up.

"I should get going anyway. First day at my new job and I can't be late"

I pick up my pieces of clothing from the ground and he hands me a pair of sweatpants.

"Oh I can just change you don't have to give me your clothes-"

"I know i'm going to see you again, so you can just return them next time" He winks and I could feel my cheeks heat up.

"I'll see you next time then" I smile

"Uh wait for me by the door and Ill walk you to your car" I nod walking towards the door

I ended up tripping over something and stumbling as I was walking and I heard another man's laugh.

I look up at the couch and there was a dark haired, blue eyed man on the couch.

"Sorry for laughing I just, surprised me is all. I'm Derek" He reaches his hand out and I shake it.

"Right, uhm nice to meet you I have to get going-" I've never felt so embarrassed or wanted to get out of a place before so instead of waiting for Mark, I left.

Mark's POV

After I got out of the restroom she wasn't by the door.

"Jules?" I call out and then I see Derek.

"Sorry I think I scared your friend away"

I roll my eyes "She was hot huh?" He laughs

"Torres warned me too but I didn't believe her"

"What?! Why not?"

He shrugs "I thought you were going strong ever since Addison left"

I sigh "That's over man, for good"

He nods "Rightt..." He mutters sarcastically.

"Get dressed and let get to work" He orders.

At the hospital everyone was everywhere. The halls were filled with people I had never seen before.

I joined Derek on the railing looking over at everyone.

"This is going to be a disaster huh?" He asks

"Yep. Maybe if-" I shut myself off as I notice someone in the crowd.

"What? What happened Mark?" Derek looks at me.

"Look at who little Grey is talking to."

"Oh my—is that your girl from this morning?!" He asks

"Yeah...that's Jules...Jules Avery"
