The Girl In The Bar

Part 3

Jules POV

After an amazing night with a stranger, it was time to get back on track. My career was my priority.

I knew merging with Seattle Grace would be difficult I also knew I couldn't go into it guns blazing like some of the other residents.

"Hi! I'm Lexie you're from Mercy West right?"

"Yes. My names Jules Avery nice to meet you"

Her brows furrow "There's a Jackson Avery from Mercy West too isn't there?"

I nod "He's my half brother unfortunately but shhh" She giggles "Your secret is safe with me"

"This is our chief resident, Dr. Bailey she usually assigns us our tasks for the day" Lexie explains

"Alright now I know it's a bit chaotic today, but each Seattle Grace Resident should be paired with a Mercy West Resident. It'll stay like this until we are able to spread out on our own. Now Izzie, you and Percy will be at the clinic, Yang and Kepner go see Dr.Shepherd and Grey you and girl Avery will be with Dr.Sloan"

Sloan?

"Follow me and we will find Dr.Sloan"

"W-Who is Dr.Sloan?"

"He's the attending for Plastic Surgery, one of the best actually"

Please please don't be him..

"Mark?"

"Ah little Grey you're on my service"

"Yep and so it-"

"Jules?" His eyes widen

"You two know each other?" Lexie asks and the both of us shake our heads

"Uh no no" I begin "I just read her name Bailey gave me a list of the new residents names I- I was just guessing" Mark finishes

"Okay well what do we have today?"

"Just a lot of basics uhm how about Lexie you take care of my post ops while I take Jules for a moment"

Lexie nods taking the charts.

Mark pulls me into an on-call room.

"You work here?!" He asks

"Technically i'm not supposed to and I wouldn't if I didn't have a choice!"

He laughs a bit "well I did tell you i'd see you again"

I smile "You did say that so I think it's kind of your fault"

He smiles stepping closer to me "God I really can't contain myself around you"

His hand caress my face before leaning down and kissing me.

I slowly push away "I would love to stay but we have things to do"

He pouts "Ugh fineee let's go beautiful"

After a exhausting day at work Lexie took you across the street to Joe's with some of the other Seattle Grace doctors.

"Guys! This is Jules, one of the cool Mercy West residents"

I smile "That's my sister Meredith, her best friend Cristina, Derek and of course you already met Mark"

I could see Derek's face light up when he turns to look at Mark.

"Mark isn't that-"

"Shut up Derek" Mark immediately shuts him up as the same girl from this morning came into the bar.

"Hey guys- oh hey aren't you the girl from Marks this morning?" She asks bluntly as Mark sighs.

"Dammit Torres"

"Wait- I thought you guys didn't know each other?" Lexie asks

"We-uhm well technically we don't. I-It was just a one night thing"

"Look I don't have to explain my sex life to any of you" Mark adds

"Oh trust me Mark we know majority of your sex life" Derek jokes

Eventually the awkwardness fades away and I was able to enjoy a couple drinks with my new coworkers.

As everyone ended up splitting off to go get more drinks or to play darts it was just Mark and I left at the table.

"Hey, can I take you home?" Mark asks leaving closer to me

"Are you trying to get me into bed again Mark" I joke and he smiles that handsome smile he has.

"Maybe I am? Is that so bad?" I chuckle

"Not at all except we can never happen again. You're my boss"

He stands up grabbing his things "I'll meet you at the car then gorgeous" He winks as he heads out the door.

Dammit

I looked around before following him out the door.

As I got outside looking for his car a pair of hands pull me from my waist.

I gasp from shock as he immediately crashes his lips into mine.

I wrap my arms around his neck as he pushes me against his car.

His hands roam my body and the kisses get more passionate and sloppy.

We jump into the back seat of his car as he sets me on top of him.

He takes off his shirt with mine following.

Before we could continue there was a knock at the window and we both froze at the figure in-front of us.

I throw my shirt back on as he opens the door and steps out.

I could hear distinct voices but I couldn't make out any words.

I slipped out from the other door and tried to walk away.

"Hey! You just be Mark's latest fling" the women shouts

"Addison that not-"

"Excuse me?" I cut him off

"Mark and I were together once, but let me just tell you he can not be serious for more than a month." she adds

"Jules don't listen to her"

"You know I think i'm going to go. I'll see you tomorrow" I walk off to my car.

What the hell was that?
