You slept so peacefully that you almost woke up later than you should have. Gladly, when you did wake up, Overhaul was still sleeping. You only sat up on your bed, waiting for Overhaul to command you to go to the bathroom to wash up.
After a few minutes, Overhaul squirmed on his bed and woke up. You were so close to knowing what he'd look like without the mask if it weren't for his entire body facing the opposite direction as you. You didn't dare try to pry. It felt like even the slightest movement of air coming his way would awake him.
"Go and take a bath. I'll have Chrono prepare your clothes." It was all he said, and now you're in the bathroom washing your hair.
It was a first for you to step outside to wherever hell hole you've been stuck in for days-months even. You wanted to strategize a plan to seek help, but it feels impossible with Overhaul around.
The towel's softness touched your dampened skin, and you finally stepped out of the shower. It was colder outside. But your face warmed at the sight of Overhaul holding a small cloth. His eyebrows were scrunched as he stared at it.
Overhaul's eyes darted to your wet figure. He had no reactions or emotions. His scrunched eyebrows merely relaxed. Yet you didn't see how his eyes scanned your legs towards your covered abdomen. You were busy figuring out what exactly is the small cloth that he was holding.
