The bright sunlight peaked through the crack between a set of purple curtains. The bright light shone down onto a certain individual who was fast asleep.

That was until the sound of a phone ringing woke him out of his deep slumber. Groaning he stretched his hand from under the cover and over to his nightstand, feeling around for the device. Having found the phone he sat up and looked at the ID caller.

❛Huh? Why the heck is Elira calling me at 7am.❜ He questioned to himself, though he answered the call nonetheless.

❝SHU!!!❞ Once the line connected, that was the first thing Shu heard.

He pulled the phone away from his now aching ear, grimacing at the loud noise, then pulled it back to his ear and asked. ❝Elira why are you calling me at 7am?❞

❝Well first off, why not and secondly, because we have to go help out at Aurora daycare today.❞ The girl replied from the other side.

Shu's eyes widened at that. He'd completely forgotten about it, how stupid could he be. Lightly slapping himself on the forehead, he responded to Elira.

❝I completely forgot about that, thanks for reminding me about it.❞ He said as he got out of bed.

Elira heard shuffling on the other side of the phone, which made her guess that the other was now getting up.

❝No problem! I'll swing by to come get you in about ten minutes. Sounds good?❞ She inquired.

Shu nodded but then remembered that the other couldn't see him, so he replied with a simple 'ok'. The call was then ended and the obsidian haired boy sat his phone back down onto his nightstand.

Letting out a sigh, he walked over to his bathroom in order to freshen himself up.

After spending five minutes in the bathroom, Shu walked out of the bathroom and headed towards his closet. Once inside he searched around for a good outfit. Though it took him awhile, he finally decided on a simple outfit of; a purple sweater and black baggy cargo pants.

Leaving out of there, he went over to his nightstand grabbing his phone and house key then he left out of his room going downstairs.

❝Morning!❞ He greeted his two siblings, that were sat at the table.

The both of them looked up and smiled. ❝Morning!❞ They greeted back.

The obsidian haired boy sat down at the table and asked. ❝What are you two doing up so early?❞

❝Waking up this early for school kind of put us on a sleep schedule, so we've got no choice but to be up this early.❞ Petra answered.

Mysta noticed that the younger was neatly dressed up, ❝Where are you going Shuey?❞ He questioned.

❝To help out at Aurora daycare. Since Elira and I go every other weekend, this weekend is the time we go.❞ Shu explained.

❝Oh, so is Elira coming to pick you up?❞ Petra asked and the other hummed in response.

The sudden sound of the doorbell going off made the three siblings turn their attention towards the door.

❝That must be Elira.❞ Shu got up from the table and went over to the door answering it.

❝Hi Shu!❞ Elira beamed, once the front door was opened.
