There was a time when I thought Trevor was an ordinary human being. It was when I didn't yet know about his overachieving personality, his motivation to work, his talents and his unique traits.

I have two successful older brothers. Despite that, Trevor isn't like them in many ways.

Both my brothers are ruthless in what they do. They carry out whatever they can to achieve their destinations. But Trevor is not like them. He is kind, he listens to everyone and he is patient.

Trevor has this little habit of scrunching up his dark brows whenever he is concentrating. His friendly and carefree style allows people to approach him and talk to him about their problems. This is quite obvious because on the rare days when Dave is away, Trev has to take over Dave's role as the waiter. On those days, customers always ask Trev to sit with them and chat. Which he of course, always had to decline. But nevertheless, that never stops the customers to keep on asking him.

He makes people laugh. Always. And his ability in making coffee never ceae to amaze me as well.

He is good at almost everything. The murals he had painted, the baked goods that he makes, the coffee and his charismatic personality makes him different from anyone I've ever been acquainted with. Don't even remind him about his successful career as an architect.

He is different from Will. When I think about it now, people are always wary to talk to Will.

Much to my surprise, Trev is also good with children. Working in a cafe, it is never news to have customers with crying babies. Challenges is tiny, so whenever a baby makes a fuss, the other customers are disturbed in many different ways. This is when Trevor comes in.

He always seem to come out of the kitchen just mere seconds before a baby starts bawling. I have no talent in handling a baby and it always fascinated me whenever Trev does his trick to transform a face full of tears into a toothy grin of joy.

Just like how he can make children happy, he also makes me happy just by looking at the radiant smile on his face.

However, I noticed that his face looks more grim than happy most of the times. I know that there have been many difficult obstacles that he had overcome in the course of his twenty five years of age.

One main similarity he has that my brothers also have it their obsession for success.

My brothers each have their own well known and well respected companies which had gained success because of papa's name. As for Trevor, he started Challenges with nothing but a sum of his own money. He never took anything from his parents; especially from the woman he hates.

Now that I know Trev's true identity, my theory of him being obsessed with success is not wrong. After his uni life, he gained popularity on his impeccable architectural designs and his negotiating skills. His clients are charmed by his skills and he never lost a client as they didn't get a chance to complain about a thing he did.

Thinking about it now, it may have been extremely difficult to settle down in a shop as small as Challenges after achieving a humongous amount of success.

On the times at night when we just sit around the table just beside the glass windows downstairs after cleaning up, I notice Trevor with a cold look on his face. Whenever I ask him what's wrong, he would always let the question slide with an infectious smile.

But if Mag's around and Trevor gives off that vibe, she would whisper something into his ear and he would nod; his expressing softening.

The business news have featured Trevor's presence back into the business field consecutively for the past five days. When the reporters asked why he disappeared, he just said "It's personal."

Even though I I'm quite certain I'm aware of Trevor's personality, seeing him on TV with a more serious demeanour makes me rethink what I believe.
