I’ll find a place
That I call home
Wherever I go
I hope there’s one for me
Wandering in places
Visiting buildings called ‘houses’
But they were never
The place that I call home
These houses are just a phase
For a shelter for people
Not a place
For a warming welcome
I hope I’ll find
A home to stay
Where the familiar warmth
Is present when I’m with them
