Funny to say
I find comfort in the cold
Rather than the warmth
That made me a fool
Warmth, you were great
Welcoming but can be deceiving
Unlike the cold
Always the harsh truth
Shivers on my spine
But I find it comforting
Oh coldness you made me feel
Like I'm home
Better than the warmth did
Empty and cold
Brings comfort to me
Reminds me of my past
Made me to cry out my pain silently
