Act 2, Chapter 5

Eventually, Tolkien had fell asleep.

The next morning, they didn't have to get up.

Thursday was no school.

Tolkien had woken up first.

He looked at Clyde and smiled.

Then he had to get up.

Tolkien managed to slip away from his spot away, and replace it with a pillow.

Tolkien walked out of the room, leaving the door open just a bit.

Tolkien then walked into the kitchen and saw his father cooking breakfast for him and his mother.

His dad saw him and smiled.

"Hey, bud!"

Tolkien smiled.

"Good morning dad!"

Tolkien's dad smiled as he finished cooking.

"Hey bud, could you place the plates on the table?"

Tolkien nodded politely and place four plates on the table.

Steve raised an eyebrow.

"Why did you place four plates on the table..?"

Tolkien looked over at his father.

"Well.."

Steve walked over to him as he placed the biscuits and eggs on the four plates.

"I may have invited over a friend last night, without asking you."

Steve then walked over to grab four cups and poured orange juice in them.

"Why would you do that?"

Tolkien shrugged.

"I just did."

Tolkien walked over to his dad to grab the cups of juice.

"That's fine, if your mother questions it, tell her I said it was okay."

Steve then looked at him.

"It wasn't a girl, right?"

Tolkien snickered.

"Nope, it was a boy."

Then, on perfect queue, Clyde walked into the kitchen, his messy hair still looking the same from yesterday.

Steve looked at Clyde.

"So, that's him."

Clyde just rubbed his eyes, he wasn't fully awake.

Then, he stopped rubbing his eyes and opened them to find Tolkien and his father staring at him.

"O-Oh! Hello, Mr. Black!"

Clyde looked embarrassed, but to Tolkien, he looked absolutely adorable.

Steve could see how Tolkien admired Clyde.

But, he acted as he had no clue.

"Good morning, Clyde."

Clyde smiled cutely, making Tolkien blush slightly.

"Care to have some breakfast?"

Clyde nodded at the request, then Tolkien's mother walked in.

She immediately noticed Clyde and started questioning Tolkien.

"Tolkien did you invite your boyfriend over?"

Tolkien immediately turned red, along with Clyde.

Steve just chuckled.

"Linda, Tolkien asked if he could bring over his friend."

Linda rolled her eyes.

"Mhm..A 'friend'.."

Tolkien blushed harder as he went to go drink some of his juice, silently offering Clyde some.

"You used protection, right?"

Just then, Clyde started choking on his drink.

Linda just rolled her eyes again.

"I could've swore I heard that last night."

Clyde started choking ever harder, Tolkien patting his back to help him quit choking, his face brightly red.

Steve glared at Linda.

"Ahem, I think you should be eating and leaving for work."

By now, Clyde had stopped choking so loudly.

"Yeah, mom. You should be going now."

Linda groaned like a little kid before inhaling her food and grabbing her purse.

"I love you, dorks!"

And then Linda walked out of the house.

Steve rolled his eyes.

"She's such a child when it comes to love."

Tolkien raised an eyebrow.

"But when it came to me and her.."

Clyde finally caught his breath and looked up at Steve.

"She was SO serious."

Tolkien smiled.

Clyde just sighed loudly while holding his chest.

"Are you okay, Clyde?"

Clyde nodded quickly before standing up straight again.

"So.."

Tolkien and Clyde both looked up at Steve, well, Clyde was the only one looking up at him.

Steve cleared his throat.

"Are you guys..y'know..dating?"

Wow. That was a longer chapter.

Y'know, usually my chapters are like..200-300 words.

This one was 591 words.

Wow.

Anyways, today is Thursday.

I KNOW THAT IT ISN'T THE WEEKEND.

But..

*CoUgH, cOuGh*

I am sick.

But tomorrow I have school.

WAHH!

Unless..

I act like I'm still sick!

MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
