Donald

It's another boring ass day at school I sat at my desk not paying any attention while miss handers teach class I was busy drawing I was about to write a song but I didn't have any ideas what to write about.

So I draw a picture of me and Katrina while drawing a heard laughing I turn saw Lloyd the same nigga Katrina was with a few weeks back.

The bell ring I got getting my stuff placing in my bookbag but got bumped. "Can you watch where you going?"

"My fault nigga" he smirked walking off.

I left out of class seeing kci and Dalvin out hugged up with girls. "Yo you good wassup" kci asked

"Nah I'm not that nigga Lloyd better chill the hell out ain't nobody scared of him".

"Trying me he's been doing that since he first dropped Katrina off a few weeks back".

"Who put that scar on your lip is it that nigga Donald duck?" Lloyd asked as I sat next to him. "No I fell" I mumbled.

"That's one of the stupidest lie I ever heard even crack heads can lie more better than you" .

I rolled my eyes focused on the teacher miss Harris. "For the following week's you all will partner up work on a science project".

Project?.

She begin telling who all partners . "Last but not least Lloyd Avery and Katrina Johnson you guys will be working together: be sure to take this serious it is for a grade".

I'm working with him great I gotta deal with his annoying ass plus Donald can't catch a break!.

I looked over at him saw him looking at me smiling.

It's the end of the day Lloyd popped out of no where scaring the living shit out of me. "you scared me"

"Sorry I thought you heard my fault" he turn his hat to the back. I looking all over for Donald but didn't see him. "let me take you home". We walked out the building. I met up with Gina she was setting on the trunk talking to la'mar but he quickly left once he saw Lloyd. "Girl where the hell you been skipping?"

"Yeah I didn't want to work today".

"Get your ass off my trunk get inside the car" she got in the back seat while I sat down in the front.

"Are you going to be out late? We need to work on this project I ain't about to work this by myself ".

"I'm be out for two hours then I'll be back to your crib gotta take care of some things ight".

"Okay" i replied.

I left out the door waving Gina good bye. "I'll be back" he says.

I walk up to the door unlocked it going inside. "Hey Grandma " I said as she say on the couch scratching off a ticket.

I went in the room changed my clothes into something comfy.

I took my paper work out my book bag laying it on my bed.

"Katrina!" My grandma yells.

"Yes" I say as I walked out .

"It's lasagna in the oven salad in the fridge" .

"My favorite thanks Grandma" I went fix my plate going back to the room ate.

I haven't heard or saw Donald today I wonder did he come to school.

Two hours passed I stood on the porch waiting for Lloyd to come he finally pulled up.

He came inside he met my grandmother they both chatted for a minute we then went to the room he looked around. "What's all this pick shit so childish"

"Can we get to work" I sat on my bet getting my pen and note book placing it on my lap.

He sits down on the bed. "So.....want project you want us to do"

"Ion know it's up to you" .

"I guess will bulit a light bulb". I wrote down the things will need for it .

We stopped at a store got all the materials came back to my house I didn't know what the hell to do I'm pretty sure he doesn't know either what can he do!.

"Let's pause on this and talk".

"For what Lloyd there's nothing to talk about".

"We you so uptight you always have a attitude with me I ain't done shit to you but be nice".

I didn't know how to react around a different guy especially him this boy something else the only guys I was use to was Donald brother and friends because I'm their lil sister.

I didn't want Lloyd to think I wanted him or make he think he could try me on some funny shit.

"I'm sorry you have been nice to me".

"Don't trip on this project we going to do well i did this before ".

"You did?"

"Yeah I helped Gina last year I don't remember on some steps but give me a minute to study ".

I nodded my head.

He folding his arms looking at the I slowly look at from top to bottom.

It's wired of having a guy in my room other than Donald I can't lie he was cute his eyes were like Donald but he had a different look that I can't explain.

I walked out the door. "Please study Lloyd if you need me you can stop by or call me doesn't make any difference "

"I will" he turn to me smiling.

Making me get shy. "what?"

He gives me a hug. "See tomorrow want me to pick you up?"

He giving out rides now?

"Um no thanks I'll already have a ride to get to school thank you".

"No problem goodnight tell your grandma I said goodnight" he leaves out the door. I shut the door standing behind it thinking what all happened.
