"Y/N, No!" Dean yelled before he jumped in front of the blade, the one meant for you. You screamed in horror. You cut of the vamp's ugly head before dropping to the floor beside Dean. "Dean? No, baby! Please!? You can't leave me!" You pleaded, putting pressure on the wound. He looked up at you in horror, eyes wide. "I-I'll be fine, Y/N" he says leaning his head on your shoulder. You let out a shaky breath, the blood was coming faster now. You leaned in and kissed Dean, not knowing how much longer you would have. "I love you, Dean" you say, your eyes pricking with hot tears. "Don't say that, I'm not going anywhere" he says with determination in his eyes. You nod, "Promise?" He looks up at you and nods, "I promise." You smile and lift up his shirt, to see a gash that went bone deep. You shuddered, but kept a strait face, you didn't want Dean to worry. Afterall, he promised. You lay beside him and put more pressure on his wound. "I love you, Y/N." He says with a shaky breath. "I love you too, Dean" you grip at his plaid shirt, knowing that the hunter you loved wouldn't be around much longer. He wrapped a muscular arm around your shoulder, "I don't regret it." he says, looking into your eyes. "What?" You say, confused. "I don't regret sacrificing myself for you" you can't handle it anymore, you break down. You sob into his shoulder, feeling hopeless. "Shhh, baby, it's ok Dean's here" he said, in attempt at comforting you. He wouldn't be there for much longer. You managed to stop crying and you held Dean. His breathing started to slow, you began to tear up again. You could see it in his eyes, this was the end. You knew what to do."Hey Jude, don't make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better..." He was gone. You had put the hunter to his eternal sleep. And he had broken his promise.
