Dean ran to you machete raised, and cut off the vamps head that was about to chow down of your neck. You look up at him in shock. "Watch your back next time" he spits out and turns on his heel to kill three more vampires while you manage to Gank one more, taking care of the nest. You check yourself for wounds before packing up and heading out to baby,waiting for Dean. You and Dean had been hunting together for a few months, he had found you in a hunt and started to train you, upon your request. You were sloppy. That was clear. Another thing was clear was that he did not like you. At all. He was always ignoring you or yelling at you. You sighed and got into the impala as Dean walked out of the old warehouse where the nest had been. After you had been driving for a while, and you had planned out what you were going to say you spoke "thanks for saving me back there" you look quickly at Dean. He looks at you and nods, "it's easier hunting with a partner." That was the closest thing you would get for a "Your welcome". You nod and look away. You drive back to the motel in silence. Just before you get out of the car Dean says "You weren't half bad out there, Y/N" and he gives you a genuine smile and gets out of the car. You sit there, dumbfounded. This could be good. At that moment in time, you didn't know just how good things could get with Dean Winchester.
