KIM HYEON-JU, daughter of Kim Beom-soo, a self-made billionaire with all the money and connections at his fingertips. Ever since Hyeon-ju was young, she'd always had an interest in war and combat. She wished to be amongst those who served their country. When her older brother Woo-jin was enlisted, she made sure that whenever she got the chance to see him on leave, or even call him, she'd make him tell her stories about what it was like. When she finished college, Hyeon-ju somehow managed to convince her father to help her enlist in the army. The only issue was she'd have to train and live amongst the men in the 103rd district as there were no female bases. That didn't matter to Hyeon-ju though, so as soon as she received to letter of acceptance, she was ecstatic and couldn't wait to enrol.
AN JUN-HO, is a young man who is just about coping with life as it is. When told he has to enlist in the military, it didn't come as a huge shock as he was waiting for it anyway but it meant that supporting his family would be harder than he thought.
HAN HO-YEOL, corporal leading the desertion arrest unit. Although he appears to be unambitious and free-spirited, he knows that he has to fulfil the job he's been given.
