My Monday through Friday schedule is as follows.
Wake up.
Brush my teeth.
Pack my bag.
Go to school.
Get through the day.
Go home.
Eat dinner.
Do homework.
Go to bed.
It's not exciting but it's life. And life is not exciting. After all, real life is nothing like the movies.
My morning routine has slightly changed though. Now instead of walking to school mom drives me. Well step-mom, but still, mom.
Some girl got killed on her way home from a party. No one actually knows if she's dead. The police couldn't find the body. If you ask me I think she ran away. But like I said; no one cares about what I think. I'm a kid.
Luke is obsessed with mystery novels, she used to look up old police cases and only look at the evidence they collected and see if she could get to the same conclusion they could. (She always did) But now that we have a real life police case in our town her life has been made.
I'm serious; she has never been this happy. Not even the first time she got to go to her dad's house after her parents got divorced.
That's the weird thing about Luke. Her parents are divorced. Well I guess it's not weird but she never seemed fazed by it. She wasn't fazed when her parents got drunk and yelled at each other late into the night, and she wasn't fazed when her dad told her he decided to move away, and she wasn't fazed by the comments that were yelled at her over it in the school hallways.
She's as tough as they come.
