One thing about the town I live in is that everyone knows everyone.
If someone gets a new car, everyone knows after the first three drives they take in it.
People notice that kind of thing. Only here. Maybe if people paid this much attention in other places the world wouldn't be in the place it is now.
Climate Change wouldn't be as large of a problem.
We wouldn't be discriminating based on sexualities and the color of our skin.
I know that paying attention doesn't solve problems like racism but by noticing things like someone getting a new car or something smaller like a new park bench we would have more compassion for people.
And maybe.
Just maybe.
We would turn out okay.
But as of right now nothing is okay.
And I don't know if it ever will be.
