Good Luck

Thankfully, there was no school today which meant everyone got to sleep in. Since F/n, Shoto, Tenya and Ochaco felt concerned for Izuku, they had decided to not go to the carnival until their friend felt better.

It just didn't feel right for them to have a good time while Izuku was sick and could possibly have something severe going on. A day had passed since they last saw him, but they made sure to check up on his well being.

Besides, it wasn't like the carnival would be leaving soon, they still had a week left.

Bed-ridden, Izuku's quiet breathing emitted from his room. His lower body was covered with his blanket while his upper body was free. He didn't mind that his room was a little chilly. It kind of felt nice that his fingers were cold, almost like he couldn't feel it and the goosebumps that traveled up his arm.

His dull half-lidded eyes stared at the ceiling. He could hear the wind slap against his window and the dull light coming into his room. His alarm, which rested on a nightstand and placed next to his bed illuminated his room.

11:34 AM.

He had woken up about an hour ago and all he did was stared at the ceiling. He didn't answer his worried mother or ate breakfast that smelled good to his nose, even if his stomach rumbled. He wanted to get up but he couldn't.

He felt like he was missing something. Like a part of him wasn't there. Like a half of him had been detached and they were both seeking each other. He wondered...

What was it?

.

..

...

I think we all know.

His phone buzzing made him jolt and he quickly removed it from the charger. His dull eyes came back to life and his lips turned into a smile. A message from F/n heated his heart.

F/n
I'm glad to see you are doing well. ^-^
We should hang out soon!

At first, Izuku felt like he was being ignored. He wanted her attention on him, but it was so hard with her other friends around. When she came late to school, he tried to grab her attention but he noticed something was wrong with her. He of course wanted to say something but his timidness got the better of him.

This time he'll try extremely hard to make sure she notices him. E̷̷v̷̷e̷̷n̷ ̷i̷̷f̷ ̷h̷̷e̷ ̷h̷a̷̷s̷ ̷t̷̷o̷ ̷d̷̷o̷ ̷u̷̷n̷̷e̷̷x̷̷p̷̷l̷a̷̷i̷̷n̷a̷̷b̷̷l̷̷e̷ ̷s̷̷t̷̷u̷̷f̷̷f̷. Though, he had to admit that seeing her deathly worried about him made him feel really good.

Izuku
Thank you!
Maybe we can hangout today?

He nervously bit on his nails, his eyes watching as three dots appeared and then disappeared with a text popping up. His smile widened as she agreed.

F/n
The others want to meet up at the carnival!
I'll see you in an hour!

His smile disappeared. Maybe he should've been more specific. He wanted it to be just them two. Should he text her to clarify? Maybe not, after all he had an hour to get ready and see her. Another time.

Just like she wanted, he left his apartment and began to walk to the carnival. The weather was nice, besides the clouds covering the sun and wind slapping against his face. It didn't take long to reach the destination. His smile returned as he spotted her waving at him.

Like always, she looked beautiful.

"I'm a bit worried to see you outside considering you have a fever." She glanced at his appearance, "Is this fine for you?"
