"Have you heard the story?"

A group of friends enter the abandoned mansion; a pink-haired girl, a blonde boy, a redhead boy, a black-haired boy, and a yellow-haired boy. They jumped over the gated fence with a sign that reads, "No entry". Of course the friends ignored it and continued to walk across the driveway.

"About the couple that killed many of their victims in this house?"

They reach the front of the house, their flashlights shining through the chestnut door that was slightly opened ajar as if daring them to come in. The floorboards of the porch creaked underneath them as they stepped on it.

"Rumors have it that you can see the owner wandering around for their next victim while his lover's cries echo through the building seeking for an escape."

A snort came from the blonde, "Was that supposed to freak us out? You're shit story teller, Dunceface."

"Honestly." Mina scanned the hallway they entered with her flashlight, "You're so dramatic."

"And stupid." Hanta added and earned a hit to the arm by Eijiro. "He's just trying to set the mood."

"But I'm serious!" Denki said as they looked for the living room, "If you look it up, there's a history about this place and many people claiming for it to be true. Heck, my grandpa was the one who told me about it and he knew the girlfriend of the man who owned this place!"

"No offense, Denki, but, your grandad is a nutcase." Mina said.

"Yeah." Hanta then added, "Besides, wasn't he the one who told us about how he spotted a real life zombie?"

Spotting the living room, Eijiro sat and placed his bag down in the center, "And didn't he also predict about a zombie apocalypse and that we should all be prepared?"

Katsuki sat down next to him and pulled his bag in front of him, "The whole point is that your family is a bunch of nutcases that need to be locked in the loony bin."

With the others laughing, Denki just rolled his eyes and sat down, "That's not true. And this place does have history."

Sitting in a circle and leaving an open space in the middle, Katsuki pulls out a board from his bag. Eijiro pulls out three candles and a lighter and begins lighting them up and passing it to the others. They place the items in front of them.

Mina cautiously eyed the board, "How are we so sure that this will work? It feels like a scam."

"It probably is." Hanta shrugged, "But this is just for fun. It's not like we'll actually contact anything."

The group just laughs and begins the process. With their fingers on the planchette they begin to ask questions. The darkness that surrounded them and the owl hooting added onto the uncomfortable atmosphere.

Passing by the long hallway that led to stairs, in a room that looked like a library on the second floor sat a girl on the window seat. With heavy eye bags and a face with longing, F/n stared at the owl hooting at her.

From her room, she could clearly hear the group of friends asking questions and waiting for a response. From the moment she spotted them entering the property, she couldn't help but feel so sad about their fate. Her heart felt heavy as to what she would be doing next to these innocent people.

She wondered why people couldn't listen to the sign that warned intruders to not enter. She wondered if they had already given up on finding her body that rested underneath a dirty pond in the backyard. And she so desperately wondered why after so many years why is she still stuck in this forsaken mansion.
