I sent my pencil down on my bed and groaned. Every word I wrote I wasn't satisfied with. Was it too cliche? I glance out my cabin window as younger campers ran around playing with each other. I sighed and closed my notebook. I quickly slipped the notebook under my pillow as I hear someone walking towards me. It was my half-sister Piper.
See, we're both the daughters of Aphrodite. Which wouldn't be bad to me if I actually had a chance romance. Piper sits next to me, putting her hand on my shoulder."Still trying to write that song Sylvie?" Piper asked, clearly seeing my frustration. I can't help but sigh. "Yeah.. why does writing down my feelings feel so weird? Especially since it's one of your friends."
Heat spread across my cheeks as I think of him but I shake my head to ignore the thoughts."I can't lie that it's a bit weird for me but as your sister I support you. I'm obviously not an expert at this but just tell him how you feel. Do it in anyway that makes you comfortable." Piper gave me a small smile before standing up. She puts her arms behind her back in a relaxed form. "I'll talk to you later. Like I said do it whatever makes you comfortable." After that she left the cabin. I think about what she said for a few minutes.
I smile to myself and pull out my notebook again. I began to finish what I was writing and played my guitar to find that perfect tune.
