Nick and I fell asleep together in his bed. My head was on his chest, my arm around his waist, my leg over his, and my face buried in the crook of his neck. His arms were around me and he was snoring loudly. He always snored. And I could never get him to shut the hell up. I woke up right after he left. I had run to the door and jumped onto his back, causing him to spin around and laugh as he peeled me away.

"Come on K.. You're killing me." He said as he kissed me on the edge of my jaw. "I'll be back in a little bit." Then he left, all dressed up and fancy as he climbed into his car. It was a porsche 918 spyder with a midnight blue paint job, and a silver in lining. I was drooling as I watched his sexy self climb into it. It suit him perfectly..

He caught me staring and winked at me, causing butterflies to shoot up through my chest and swarm around my stomach, then form a nest around my heart. I was falling in love. Not only with a man, but with my brother.

I chilled at his house, wearing one of his too big flannel shirts, boxers, and socks. His house was surprisingly warm and comforting, even for its size. I started walking around, exploring. It was mostly hard wood floor and large curving structures. The staircase leading from the enormous living room to his bedroom floor was carved in perfect mahogany wood, and pretty carvings. I ran my hand against the railing as I walked up the steps. There were a lot, and by the time I got to the top, I was practically winded. The bedroom hallway was long and lined with windows and doors. There were pictures all over the place and I suddenly had the feeling that Nick didn't want to miss out on any memories, because the whole hall was lined with pictures of us as kids, and I even spotted a few of Mom and Dad. I walked past Jonathan who was cleaning a picture frame. He was actually a pretty cool guy. He was balding, with a few black hairs left on his head. He had really blue eyes that looked weathered from old age. He smiled at me and it was filled with a knowledge only older people had. I grinned back.

The rest of the hall was a bunch of doors, all of them with little labels on them. I passed a door with the word library etched into it, and I marked it as a place to visit again later. At the end of the hall was a single door with the word Skyline etched into it. I slowly twisted the knob, scared that someone was going to pop out like they did in the movies. Jonathan was suddenly behind me, and he whispered boo, causing me to jump a mile into the air. I glared at his backside as he walked back down the hall, chuckling. I turned back to the door and pushed it open. Inside was a stairwell, that went straight up. Curiosity got the best of me and I followed the steps only to come out at a beautiful scene. It was a long narrow hall, but it was completely clear, showing off the view of south western New York. There were a lot of big houses with farms and rich cars spread out amongst the land and I felt at peace here, away from all of the New York City bustling and chatter. I loved it. If I looked directly to my left, I could see the Adirondack Mountains. They were extremely gorgeous and I was taken aback. If I looked to the right, I could see George Lake, and a little bit away from that I could see George Lake Village, which was a cozy little village with stores made from logs, and country people who cared about everything. I knew all of this because.. This was were I was born.

Turning back to the door, I suddenly had a thought. Why the hell was Nick working in New York City when that was over four hours away. I was pondering that as I explored some more, checking out all the cool rooms and displays. When I reached the back lawn, my breath hitched in my throat and I almost died from all the beauty I saw there.

His back yard wasn't a yard, it was a huge field with trees on either side, and the mountains ending it off. But I didn't notice how green or amazing the grass and nature was, I just noticed the enormous in ground pool he had. It was surrounded my shiny cobble stone, comphy looking sun bathing chairs, to the right was a tall cobblestone wall with a fountain emerging from it, pouring crystal clear water into a jacuzzi. To the left was a huge bar with fancy chairs and countering lining it, drinks stacked high against the back wall, and tall lights surrounding it. I blinked as I looked around some more. Above me was a big balcony with a few chairs and sofas thrown around a big DJ table, and straight ahead was the biggest fire pit I'd ever seen. Big rocks surrounded it as it was buried into the cobble stone, with logs and chairs surrounding it. I couldn't breathe. All of this was so gorgeous, and my brother's. At least I knew I could come back whenever I wanted to... Or never leave.
