The Tale of Roronoa Kenji

Chapter 5: Retaliation

Silence filled the air. Everyone had a look as if they saw a ghost.

"Did you say Roronoa?"

"Roronoa?"

"As in The Roronoa?"

"The Legendary swordsman?"

People started to question Kenji's statement, yet one person was not moved.

"Bullshit" 

The person in question was the tall man.

"No damn way your that man's kid"

Kenji: I'm his grandson

"Still doesn't help"

Kenji: Want me to prove it Mr. spike man?

The man thought upon what Kenji said and decided to go with it.

"Alright, I'll humor you only because I want this fight to last more than five seconds"

He snaps his fingers and three members threw three katanas in front of Kenji.

"By the way, everyone on this island calls me the jury. I'm the one responsible on deciding if your guilty or not"

Kenji: *picks up katanas* *sarcastic*So what do you find me?

The Jury: Very much guilty to the point of the death sentence

Kenji: *muffled* Well see

Kenji goes in for the first attack and goes for a double slash at The Jury. Unfortunately he was met with dust as The Jury disappeared.

The Jury: *Yawn* Has the fight started yet?

Kenji looks behind him and sees the Jury untouched and unfocused on the fight.

Kenji *How did he get past me?*

Kenji proceeds to unleash a series of slashes but to no prevail.

The Jury: Hey now look at this 

In his hand was Kenji's locket. As he played with it Kenji was left speechless as to how he manage to be that fast. The Jury opens the locket to see a picture of Kenji and Ayako together.

The Jury: Hey now is this your girlfriend? She's kinda too cute to be dating someone like you, now had she be here I would probably-

*Slash*

The Jury fell to the ground as a bloody x was left on his torso by Kenji, who in a rage state manage to become faster than the Jury and land a hit on him while taking back his locket. Everyone was frozen in fear, no one had ever seen someone land a hit on the Jury before till now.

"You son of a bitch"

Everybody turned their attention to the Jury slowly trying to stand back up.

The Jury: You actually hit me! To think a low life such as yourself could manage such a thing

He rushes in for an attack. Kenji braced himself for the attack to come.

Kenji looked at the Jury and saw that he wasn't moving. He looked around and saw that everyone wasn't moving, this started to confuse him till he noticed Oscar grabbing his foot.

Oscar: C'mon we gotta get out of here

Kenji: How did you-

Oscar: HURRY!

They both ran as fast as they could away from the group. Everywhere Kenji looked everyone and everything was frozen in place.

Kenji: What's happening?
