The sun hung low in the sandy skies above Jedha, casting long waving shadows over the ancient temples that littered the planet. Hiding below these rocky cliffs and sandy dunes was a chamber that the Hidden Path had relocated to after the attack that Lord Vader lead.

Standing there, bathed in the dim glow of flickering lightsabers, Cal Kestis felt a heavy weight on his shoulders. The loss of Cere Junda, his mentor, and the custodian of what remained of the Jedi's precious records on Jedha, was a devastating blow. But he couldn't afford to grieve for long. He knew that the information they had sought to protect must be preserved if Cere's dream was to be fulfilled

With determination etched into his features, Cal examined the makeshift archives in the chamber. It was a repository of knowledge and history, carefully compiled by Junda and the Hidden Path. Piles of holocrons, ancient scrolls, and holographic recordings were scattered around, relics of a forgotten era.

As Cal sifted through the remnants of the Jedi Order, he couldn't help but remember the lessons Cere had taught him. She had emphasized the importance of preserving knowledge, not just for the sake of the Jedi, but for all those who sought the light. He knew he had to carry on her legacy.

Among the scattered artifacts, Cal noticed an unusual, yellow holocron. It seemed different from the others, its design more intricate and ornate. With trembling fingers, he picked it up and examined it closely. There was something about it that drew him in, a magnetic pull of the Force.

Cal turned to BD-1 "BD, what do you think? Should we open this one? It's giving me a strange feeling."

The little droid chirped and projected a holographic image of the holocron. "Boop-beep-beep."

Cal nodded, as if he understood the droid's beeps and whistles. "Yeah, I agree. Let's see what's inside."

With a deep breath, Cal knelt down and set the holocron in front of him. Tugging at the invisible strings of connection that the force held, he peered into the inner workings of the artifact from a different time. Slowly, the holocron lifted off the ground and started to open in a strange manner. The room filled with a soft, golden light as the holographic projection flickered to life. A mysterious voice filled the chamber, echoing with ancient wisdom.

BD-1 beeped excitedly, projecting a series of holographic emoticons that seemed to say, 'This is it!'

Cal listened intently to the voice, and he couldn't help but grin. "Well, BD, looks like we've stumbled onto something interesting."

BD-1 beeped in agreement and rolled around Cal, projecting holographic maps and symbols. "Boop-beep-beep."

Cal chuckled. "You're right, little buddy. We've got a lot of work to do."

As the hologram continued to play, Cal and BD-1 exchanged excited glances. They knew that this holocron wasn't the usual. This holocron contained the crystal of a former Jedi. With a buzz, the room was covered in a golden projection, and soon, a cloaked figure came to view.

"Whoever you may be, you've found my holocron." The voice boomed inside the chamber. Cal stood up and peered into the cloaked knight's eyes, tough the shadows obscured his features, Cal sensed something familiar about him, a strange connection.

"I am Jedi Knight Y/N L/N, and I have chosen to make this recording to document why I've chosen to abandon the Order. The Jedi have become disillusioned with themselves, many late night I've spent awake and afraid of what visions I may next see at night. This is my story."

Cal reached out to touch the hooded figure, but without noticing, he had touched the holocron itself. with a great spark and a blinding light, everything was, but an endless void of white...
