Dabi normally wasn't the type to comfort people. Judging by the picture on the desk he decided it was for the best. Hawk's phone started to ring. (Bold means on a call)

Hawks sighed and started scavenging for his equipment. Dabi had put Hawk's stuff in the closet. "What was that about?" "Just a fire in and orph- A FIRE IN AN ORPHANAGE! OMG SCREW ME- WHAT NO UHHH I GOTTA GO~"
Dabi chuckled as Hawk's stormed out of the house.

TIMESKIPPPPP-

'I had just flown over to the location endeavor-san had given me. I immediately dived into the orphanage grabing as many kids as possible. Once everyone was evacuated i was stormed by news reporters. "What took so long to get here?" "Did you forget you had patrol left?" "WERE YOU OUT WITH YOUR LOVER? IS THAT WHY YOU HAVE HICKEY'S AND YOU DIDN'T SHOW UP?"... '
That particular comment stuck out to Hawk's the most. He started to get anxious and was fidgeting with a feather. Just then he was swooped by Eraserhead and Endevover was dealing with the reporters. "Listen up kid this is important" Hawks nodded for eraser to go on. "Was the question the reperter asked about your "lover" true?" "I-i don't have a lover." "Then? Do you wanna talk about what ever it is that's on your mind?" "No" "Alright I'll let you head home then" Hawks flew home still thinking about today's event's. He was hoping that the gang members wouldn't be able to find him. Once he made it to his apartment he walked in and threw himself on the couch. "Oi birdie..I'm hungry" "ahhh Wh-what are you doing here?!" "What do you mean what am i doing here?" "I MEAN WHY ARE YOU IN MY HOUSE!?" " keep it down bird brain did you forget i was the one that comforted you when you were breaking down?!" "I Thought I WAS IMAGINING TOUY- ne-nevermind" 'this bordie still remember me!' "Anyway, got any thing i can eat" "uhh," "i won't kill anyone or you...I'm off duty and very tired" "o-okay? I have some leftover lazania if you want." "Sounds good."

Hawk's served the heated lazania and walked over to his bedroom. He opened his closet taking off his coat and shirt. He changed into a pair of shorts and a oversized hoodie big enough to fit his wings in. "Hey they Birdie come join me." "No thanks.. not hungry." "That wasn't a request" Dabi stood up and dragged the bird over to the living room couch which had a cofee table. "I can give you company but i just don't want food." "That wo- Fine." Hawks had dozed off into sleep. His head was resting on Dabi's chest legs on the couch close together, hands between his knees. Dabi just sat there patting his head scrolling on his phone. "It's already 2am. No wonder this birdie fell asleep so fast,should i take him to his bed? But he looks comfortable. And i am too. I'll just scroll until he wakes up." Around 2:30 am Dabi also dozed off.....
