The sun peeks through the shades as West turns over on her air mattress while yawning. She jerks her body and sits up to someone banging on the door.

Benny: GO AWAY!!!
Carson: Benny it's Carson! Open up we need to talk!

Benny jumps up in shock.

Benny: Whispers Shit. It's the RA! Get up!
Avery: Yawning Who's that?
Benny: The guy who's gonna fry my ass about having more than one person in this room if you don't get your shit and move!

Benny chucks a pair of shorts and a t-shirt at Avery. He opens the dorm window and looks back at Avery & West, motioning to it.

West: ... You're actually joking. We're on the second floor!
Benny: I'm actually not! Move!

Carson continues to bang on the door. He gets impatient and takes out a key to the dorm and begins unlocking the door.

West: You owe me so hard for this!

West and Avery step out of the window onto a ledge right outside just as Carson enters the room. Benny hops back into bed, pretending to just wake up.

Benny: Fake yawning Oh... um can I help you with something? I'm in the nude.
Carson: I know you're hiding something and it's just a matter of time before I find out.

Carson looks down at the air mattress on the floor.

Carson: You hosting?
Benny: What? It's for me! I sleep like a tasmanian devil and I wanna make sure I'm safe when I fall off my bed... awkwardly smiles
Carson: Squints Just a matter of time, Lourdes. Just a matter of time.

Carson looks at the open window and then back at Benny. He slowly walks out of the room and closes the door. Benny hops up and goes to help West & Avery back inside.

Avery: A bird shit on me out there.
Benny: You'll live.
West: Ben, that's it. We've gotta find a new place to crash until our building is fixed. I don't wanna get you kicked out.
Avery: I slept with this guy who owns an apartment off campus. Maybe I could hook us up?

Benny and West look at Avery and then back at each other. West pulls out her phone.

West: ... Actually I think I know someone that can help.

Daniel shuts the door behind him and puts West's bags down in the den.

West: You have no clue how much you're helping us by doing this. We won't be here long. A week tops.
Daniel: Hey don't even sweat it. I owe you after the other night.
Avery: What happened the other night?
Daniel: How about we don't go down memory lane, huh? Listen, I was actually planning to head down to the pier with Brad if you guys wanted to tag along.
West: I could definitely use some sun and a tan right about now laughs I'm so in.

The sun is beaming down as West, Avery, Daniel, Benny and Brad arrive at the beach in Avery's beat up Honda. West gets out of the car and adjusts her glasses as she peers out at the ocean and crowded rows of food stands.

West: Well, here we are. Santa Monica Pier in all its... crowded, sweaty glory.
Benny: You know, I always imagined our first trip to the beach would be a bit more glamorous and less... Jersey Shore?
Avery: Benny come on. This is peak beach culture: greasy food, overpriced swimsuits and random guys hitting on you. It's an experience.
West: Laughs Yeah an experience I'm totally okay with forgetting but we could definitely use a break after Mission Impossible this morning.
Daniel: Hey Brad and I are gonna find a good spot on the beach. Find us when you're ready.
Benny: Affirmative!
