CUPID (hyunho)

FIFTEEN

Minho's eyes roamed around the coffee shop, but they lingered for a brief moment on the table in the corner. 

Two teenage girls been sitting there for nearly an hour, savoring their drinks and pastries as both of them laughing and giggling on the stories they shared with each others.

He sighed and looked away. It had been two weeks since the last time he saw Hyunjin. The other baristas said that when he took a break, Hyunjin had been coming to the café nearly every day and even looking for him. However, after that week when Minho came back to work, he never saw Hyunjin again. It wasn't that he desperately wanted to see him, he is just curious about what happened to Hyunjin. 

Minho slowly began to doubt whether the love arrow had worked on Hyunjin. Because if it worked then why does he couldn't feel the effects of the love arrow he had worked so hard for.

He didn't know what was happening to him at the moment. He hoped that the love arrow hadn't worked on the person who shouldn't have been his target. However, there was a feeling he couldn't explain. Every time he wished for that, it seemed as if something inside him opposed his desire, as if he actually yearned for the opposite.

However, because he knew deep down that Jisung was the person he truly liked, he consistently pushed those conflicting emotions aside and chose not to entertain them, as this emotion just gave him a headache.

While arranging pastries in the glass display cases, a voice caught Minho's attention. It was Jisung, currently placing an order at the counter.

Minho looked at the entrance, anticipating Hyunjin's appearance following Jisung. However, it seemed that Jisung had already placed his order and was just now waiting for it, but no sign of Hyunjin in sight.

Jisung probably felt Minho's gaze on him, which was why their eyes locked for a moment, and they exchanged smiles as a sign of greeting.

Minho was happy that, even though Hyunjin haven't coming, at least Jisung still come. But the thing is he couldn't feel the emotions he had felt before while looking at Jisung eyes and smile.

After a few minutes of waiting outside, Hyunjin felt something cold dampen his cheek.

"You've only been waiting out here for less than five minutes, but you're already sweating a lot. Why didn't you just come inside with me?" Jisung asked as he handed Hyunjin his Iced Americano.

"I told you I wanted fresh air." Hyunjin replied then grab his drinks then started to walked away. Jisung aren't convinced by his answer but just ignored it and followed Hyunjin.

"That's why you choose to walked instead bringing your car on the way to Felix unit?" 

"Felix place is just a walking distanced, this is exercise and we should stop polluting our mother earth." Jisung just shook his head at Hyunjin's anwer.

"Do you have a plan in mind?" Jeongin asked Felix as he scooped a spoonful of ice cream and shoved it into his mouth.

They were currently at Felix's place. Felix had called them to help plan his boyfriend's upcoming birthday. 

"I do. He's been wanting to visit his grandparents in his hometown, but he hasn't had enough time to do so. I want to take him there to celebrate his birthday together with his grandparents."

"You already have a perfect plan so why need to—" 

"Because I still need your help." Felix didn't let Jisung finish his sentence as he already knew what Jisung's about to say. Jisung just pouted and shoved the chips he's been eating the moment he sat on Felix's living room couch.

"So I want a separate celebration. The celebration with Changbin and his grandparents will take place at his grandparents' house, while the party I want to organize will happen at their rest house." Felix added.

Felix explained the details he wanted to happen. 

Felix explained that Changbin's grandparents had a rest house in the the forest, complete with both cold and hot springs. He had already spoken to Changbin's parents, who, in turn, had spoken to Changbin's grandparents, and they had approved Felix's request. All that was left was for everyone to be there to assist Felix in organizing the party and celebrating together.

All of them loved the idea, especially when Felix mentioned that this could also serve as a much-needed break for his friends from their work. They almost kisses Felix if just Felix didn't run and save himself from his disgusting friends.

It's not Hyunjin birthday but he can't wait for the day to come. There was still one week left until Changbin's birthday, which wasn't too long, but his anticipation was overwhelming.

However, his excitement faded, replaced by an unexplainable feeling when Felix mentioned the person he had been avoiding.

"Minho hyung will there too." 

Hyunjin had no idea that Felix was watching him and Jisung's reaction as he mentioned the name of his cousin.

A faint, knowing smile gently tugged at the corners of Felix's lips as he observed the contrast in Hyunjin's and Jisung's reactions.
