After breakfast, everyone agreed to head to the spring, so here they are. Minho and Chris declined the others' invitation to join them, preferring to stay back at the cabin. The two sat on the wooden floor, quietly observing the others enjoying themselves.
Minho's gaze shifted to Hyunjin, who appeared to be enjoying the warm water of the spring as he chatted with his friends.
Looking at Hyunjin like this, being so carefree and genuinely expressive with his emotions, Minho couldn't believe what he had done before. He wanted to question his past self. How could he have disliked this boy? How could he have been so rude to him? How could he have treated him as his rival? How?
Then Minho shifted his gaze, this time fixing to the boy who makes him felt those emotions to Hyunjin before. He wasn't blaming the boy for the shit he done, he just couldn't believe how blinded he was by his emotions for the boy, that makes him done all those shit to Hyunjin. Believing he was the one meant for him, driven by the emotions he wanted to feel. It may sound cliché but one can't fault him, desperation had consumed him entirely. But looking at Jisung right now, Minho couldn't really feel it anymore, the feeling he had been holding until he got the love arrow. Then accidentally– wait no. When the arrow landed with its rightful owner, and that made him realize some things.
"He might melt, you know." Minho got startled when Chris elbowed him on his side. He hadn't realized he'd been staring at Hyunjin for quite a while until his friend caught him in the act.
Minho cleared his throat. "I'm not staring." He denied and shifted his eyes on the huge rock besides the hot spring. He heard Chris snort hearing his response.
"Why haven't you made a move? You've been liking him for so long already. He's attractive, Minho. Aren't you afraid someone might have him because you're too slow?" Minho got confused by what Chris just said. So he shifted his gaze to the elder beside him before following Chris's line of sight. There, his eyes landed on Hyunjin.
Then a realization hit him. He remembered, he never mentioned someone's name everytime he rant about his crush on his friends. So Chris probably thought it was Hwang Hyunjin.
Minho just chuckled by the realization, doesn't have a plan to correct him. Then he think about what Chris just said. He shifted his gaze back to Hyunjin.
I didn't make a move? you don't have idea.
Minho wants to prove that the love arrow really works. He won't let his hard work go for nothing. He believes that giving Hyunjin his attention and growing their bond will make it work? Well, he's actually not hundred percent sure, but he's willing to do anything and everything for the sake of his love life.
And afraid someone might have him? I'm confident, he's mine.
"Hey are you okay? Does your sanity left you? You're chuckling there alone, are you planning something on your mind? Care to share?"
Minho shook his head while laughing by the tons of questions of his friend.
"Too many questions. I'm dizzy." Minho said then stood up. "You know what? Come on, let's go grab some tea. They probably want some." He added then extended his arm to help his friend to stand up, but raised it up when Chris was about to take it. He laughed when he saw Chris reaction.
Minho left the spot first to head inside the cabin. He went to the kitchen area, recalling seeing a teapot earlier, so there's likely some tea available.
When Chris arrived at the kitchen he's already preparing the tea so he asked Chris to look for tea cups and prepare it.
If his estimation were right, it took them five minutes to prepare the tea and get back to others.
