On December 2, 1991, Canada 🇨🇦 was the first western country to recognize Ukraine 🇺🇦 as an independent country and on top of this Ukraine 🇺🇦 is represented in Canada 🇨🇦 by an embassy in Ottawa (Canada's 🇨🇦 capital), and consulates
2.) Relationship
The relationship between Canada 🇨🇦 and Ukraine 🇺🇦 is wonderful! Canada 🇨🇦 has been supporting Ukraine 🇺🇦 since the beginning of the war with Russia 🇷🇺, they have been giving Ukraine 🇺🇦 things like guns, ammunition, bombs, drones (very affective against tanks) and many more things. On top of that the two countries have had a great relationship with each other way before the war started!
