Urmi Kundrra – owns a dance academy.. best friend of Tejasswi.. but karan is not aware about her friendship with Tejasswi.

Sahil Kundrra — brother of karan .. not as grumpy as karan .. CFO of Kundrra group of hotels and restaurants

Rishabh chawla- owner of a big firm . Best friend of Tejasswi and Urmi.. ex batch mate of Urmi and Tejasswi

Tejasswi’s pov

Ughh.. i hate Mondays.. i just woke up and I’ll have to rush for my ofc.. which is definitely gonna suck.. huff.. i need to get my breakfast.. I quickly hop on my sandals and run out of my apartment where the cab is waiting for me.. i quickly hopped into the cab and left for my office..

I reached the ofc just in time and rushed for the lift.. I entered my floor and went towards my cabin and there he was.. idiot boss and best friend of mine..

“What’s it rishu ?” I kept my purse on the table

“What?” He smiled cheekily

“You in my cabin that too early in the morning is definitely a bad news !” I replied

“Come on Tejasswi.. i just brought you ur breakfast because i know it’s a Monday and you would rush her..” he said and i sighed.. he was right.. he is like my big brother and that’s why i like bickering with him.

“Well.. manav said you’ve not been taking care of yourself properly..” he said and i rolled my eyes.. even though manav isn’t here .. he has still keeping tabs over me through rishabh

“Fine.. i was just.. a little busy..” i shrugged

“Reading romantic novels ?” He smirked and i through my magazine at him and he chuckled

“So what if i read romantic novels ?” He shook his head

“Nothing’s wrong.. it’s just that you need to find a man for yourself who can actually fulfill the deepest and darkest fantasies of yours..” he said and i groaned. How come he became my best friend.. this idiot!

“Rishabh.. you know i m not gonna find a guy like i need and want..” his expression grew serious

“Tejasswi you gotta stop doubting yourself first and then curse that asshole for ruining ur confidence!” He said and i nodded

“Well.. i think i need to have my breakfast..” i opened that take out bag and we had oir breakfast together

It was evening that i was ready to leave for my apartment.. i was gonna meet Urmi for the dinner in our favourite cafe.. my phone pinged and i checked it.. damn it.. she was stuck in her dance class today.. but my stomach was grumbling with hunger.. never mind.. i would just there myself !

I booked the cab to the cafe and in about 15 mins.. the cab pulled over in front of cafe..

Karan’s pov

It was such a bad day at office today ! Hell.. i hated today’s day.. only one thing can fix my mood right now.. my fav coffee.. from my fav cafe.. i just pulled over in front of the cafe.. i gave my driver off as i didn’t want him to get a dose of my unnecessary wrath..

It is a cafe that i barely come to because i just stay so busy that i have people to get take outs for me already ready in my cabin.. but today it is a rare day as i m here myself..

I got out of my car and went in.. there was just one girl at the counter talking with mrs malhotra..the owner of the cafe.. they seemed quiet close to each other.. the girl turned around and directly bumped into me.. but I somehow balanced myself.. shit karan .. you should have been a little far from her..

“Oww..” she muttered and rubbed her forehead.. she seemed to be quite cute.. she looked up at me confusedly and my mind was definitely blown off.. she is so heavenly gorgeous.. she has the most beautiful pair of eyes I’ve ever seen..

“Hello mr Kundrra.” Mrs malhotra said and i came back to reality.. she stepped away a little

“I’m..I’m so sorry..” she closed her eyes and muttered.. but why was she sorry.. it was me who was just behind her..

“Sorry once again..” she went away from there and I looked at her retreating figure at the end of the hall as she took the last seat..

I gave my order and in a few minutes it was ready.. I sat in my constant seat and checked my phone.. after checking the mails i kept my phone upside down so as to not get disturbed.. my gaze went towards the mysteriously beautiful girl and she was having her food happily.. there was something in her that attracted me towards her..

My phone rung and i had to rush back to the office.. fuck these issues ! I rushed back to the ofc.. i just hope to see that girl again someday..

Tejasswi’s pov

Ufffff..that guy... He was so hot !! I can’t reach his standard ! Neverrr.. i was on my way back to home but I couldn’t just stop thinking abt him.. who was that man ? Huff.. can’t help it though.. I don’t think so I’ll meet him any soon now..

Next morning

I had taken a half day today so i kust over to the cafe and sat in a corner working on the current project.. interior designing is fun but that can definitely be tiring sometimes.. you have to check all the angles and every fucking thing and when it’s a whole building to cover then that is a different sort of chaos and work..

Someone coughed and i looked up.. it was the same guy whom i bumped into yesterday

“Hey..” he said..

“umm.. she’s calling you..” he pointed towards vinita aunty.. she is just the sweetest person I’ve everrr met..

“Th..thanks..” i just managed to say and then Gathered my stuff and kept it aside..

“umm..you wanna.. join ?” I said and immediately regretted

“I’m sorry.. you might be a busy person..” i shook my head clumsily

“Well.. you seem much busier than me..” he said and i nodded..

“Yeah..” i fake coughed..

“I’ll..I’ll just get my order..” i said

And went towards the counter and got my lunch.. wow.. it was already 2 pm.. i think i should just take an off and have some rest now.. i went back and saw him already sitting there.. i sat down carefully on my seat as i m too clumsy to not make a fool of myself..

“umm.. between myself Tejasswi..” i had just forgotten how we didn’t even knew each other’s name and i had just invited him to join me

“Karan ..” i nodded and forwarded the lunch towards him

“I’m done with the lunch..” i nodded and took a bite myself.. i was so hungry..

“so..you seemed so busy.. so engrossed in ur work..” he said and i nodded

“Yeah.. usually on day offs i just get here and work.. i tend to forget everything else while i do something that i like..” i said and he nodded..

we chatted a little more but his phone rung and his expressions changed after he picked up the call..he had a grumpy growl on his face.. almost too dangerous

“I’m sorry.. i just.. i need to leave..” i nodded in understanding

“It’s okay.. it was nice meeting you though..”

Karan’s pov

It has been already a month since i saw my angel.. she is definitely an angel.. the last day i met her was the happiest day of my life.. i cracked three deals that same day.. that much influence she has over me and my mood.. i just hoped to see her again and i have been visiting the same cafe for the past month just in hope to bump into her like the first time we did..

Tejasswi’s pov

I was currently in my dumb boss’s cabin.. uh fine.. he is not dumb.. but as a best friend i can call him dumb.. can’t i..?

“What’s it rishabh..?” I asked him and she smiled cheekily

“I need you to get on with other project..” he said and my eyes widened

“I m already working on three projects rish..” i said and he nodded

“I know !! But i have people to give work to and you can pass on to them.. but for this client i need you be their.. i need you to handle their needs for designing Tejasswi..” i groaned

“God rish.. you’re loading me with work..” i said

“Tejasswi.. he is a close friend of mine.. and i need him to be happy..” he said and i sighed and nodded.. it’s not like i can disagree.. friend or not he is still my boss

“Fine.. can you just give me details about who the client is.. or something like.. info !?” I asked and he nodded

“Between with hai kaun  ?” I asked

“Kundrra group of hotels..” he said and wow.. I haven’t even heard about them..

“Fine..” i went to my cabin and asked my pa to get me the printout of the details..
