Karan’s pov

We went down and had our breakfast..i had a very important meeting so i had to leave early but i asked rishabh to give Tejasswi an off or work from home..
Plus i need to ensure her safety in that flat though i plan on asking her to move in with me.. but still.. for now this is so necessary

After my meeting I quickly video called Teju.. she picked it up

“How are u princess?” I asked and she hummed

“Fine..” she replied

“tum ghar kab aoge ?” She asked

“In about two hours.” i checked my watch and told her and she nodded

“Tejasswi.. stop overthinking..” i said and she looked away

“Tejasswi it’ll be all fine baby.. don’t worry..” she hummed and after talking to her for a while I ended the call and got over with the work and drove back home quickly

As i entered i saw Tejasswi sitting with urmi and ma..

“Good evening..” i said and they looked at me

“Chalo.. ab Karan aa gya hai..” mom said and got while i scrunched my nose in confusion

“urmi aur mujhe meri ek frnd ke ghr jaana hai.. Tejasswi ko bhi bola tha maine but voh maan hi ni rhi..” mom said and i nodded

“Dad aur Sahil ?” I asked and they sighed

“They had to go out of town tonight.. they already left..” Tejasswi answered and i nodded

“But yeh baat mujhe batayi kyu ni thi un dono ne ?” I asked and all three shrugged

“fine.. jao aap dono.. I’ll be here..” i said and they left quickly while i sat beside Tejasswi and held her hand and kissed on the back of it

“you okay ?” I asked and she nodded with a faint smile

“Better” she answered and i pecked her lips

My phone rung at the same time and i picked it up as it was from the inspector.. i went aside

“Hello.. yes inspector what’s the update..” i asked and for what he answered.. i ended the call immediately and went to Tejasswi

“come on.. we need to go..” i held her hand and made her stand up

“Tum fresh toh ho jao..” she said and i shook my head

“Abhi nhi..” i made her sit in the car and started driving


Tejasswi’s pov

I can’t believe he brought us to my apartment.. right now ? Seriously? I looked at him as he stopped the car..

“Hum yahan kyu aaye hain ?” I asked too surprised by his surprise to bring me here

“I have a gift for u..” he said and got out.. he held my door open and forwarded his hand..

“you trust me ?” He asked and i looked at him.. i nodded and held his hand and got out.. he held my hand properly and took me upstairs.. the door to my apartment was still opened.. i took slow steps and we entered the apartment.. and what i saw there was something i had not expected.. ansh and his father.. that too arrested by the police.. i stopped in my tracks.. Karan stopped too and held my hand intertwined our hands together and walked towards the police

“He was hiding in her neighbours home mr Kundrra.. iske dad aaj yahan aaye toh we got to know and we arrested him immediately” the inspector said and i looked at Karan whose eyes were full of anger and hatred.. he left my hand and went towards ansh.. he slapped him hard.. and then held him by his collar

“How dare u.. how dare you tried to touch her.. !” He yelled at him while i just stood there rooted at my place surprised seeing the scene

“teri vajah se voh itne saal traumatised rahi.. voh move on nhi kr pai.. self conscious rahi.. tujhe pta hai teri ek harkat ne use kitna dara diya.. kitna affect kiya hai use.. bloody jerk !” He slapped him again and police stopped him.. he turned to his father

“aur aap.. you bloody failed as a father.. you are a bad influence.. guess what.. aapke bete ne bhut bdi glti ki.. dobara meri Tejasswi ki trf dekh ke bhi glti ki.. jitne connections use krne hain kr lijiye lekin ab aap dono jldi se bahar toh nhi aane wale.. I’ll make sure of that..” he glared at his father.. “le jaiye inhe inspector” he turned and held my hand.. “let’s go bby..” he whispered and took me outside.. he made me sit in the car and tucked my seat belt in.. he started driving while i was just sitting quietly

Karan’s pov

She was sitting quietly in her seat.. i am glad that bloody idiot is finally gonna get punished for his deeds! I held her and intertwined our fingers together.. she looked at me and i kissed her hand

“You don’t need to worry abt anything now..” i assured her and finally she smiled a little.. i kissed her hand again..

“Thank you Karan.. you freed me today..” she took a deep breath.. i stopped the car just in front of my apartment

“yhn kyu ruke hain hum ?” She asked and i got out.. i opened the door for her and she came out.. i held her hand and took her to second floor..

“hum yhn kisse milne aaye hain?”

“Just one second..” i whispered and took out the keys.. i opened the main door and entered with her.. i kept the car keys and house keys and side table..

“Bolo na yeh kiska ghr hai ?” She asked again looking around and i held her hands

“Mera..” i answered

“Huh ? Mtlb ?” She asked completely confused

“Come..” i took her into the bedroom and turned on the lights and she gasped seeing the room

“Yeh..” she took a deep breath as she saw around our photos.. the frames in the dining room are with mom dad unns and sanku.. the hall has no photos at all.. and my bedroom.. has just our photos.. mine.. and Tejasswi’s photos.. i back hugged her and kissed her head

“Mera apartment.. you’ve never been here.. because kaam chl rha tha yhn pe..” she nodded

“but you know.. i want ki..” i stuttered

“Ki ?” She asked

“I don’t want it to be just my house anymore..” she turned her head back in confusion

“Mtlb?” She said quietly as if she already understood what i wanted to ask

“I want it to be our home.. the one we both come back to.. the one that is just our private space.. jhn pe i find peace..because vhn tu hai..” she turned around completely in my arms and snuggled her face in my neck and i hugged her properly

“will you ?” I whispered

“Yes..” she whispered against my neck and i picked her up and twirled her while she remained snuggled up with me..

I let her stand down..

“But before that Tejasswi..” i start to say what i wanted to but I don’t know how she’ll react to it

“we need to go somewhere” i said and she scrunched up her eyebrows in confusion

“delhi..” her face suddenly fell.. i cupped her face

“Tejasswi they owe an explanation.. don’t you think manav would be blaming himself thinking he was the one who called you there in the first place and it triggered something for you.. i.. i know it’s ur family matter but i wanna help u get rid of the triggers that u get there.. it’s not like u r never gonna go there again..” i said and she nodded her head but didn’t meet my eyes. I made her look up.

“Tejasswi.. do you trust me ?” I asked

“I do..” she whispered

“I won’t let anything happen to u there.. that is my promise to you..” i said and she nodded

“I trust u..” she said and hugged me.. i hugged her back tightly and caressed her hair..

“Can we leave tomorrow?” I asked and she nodded her head.. i kissed her head and sighed..

“Papa kaise react karenge..” she whispered and i shrugged

“I don’t know.. i can just hope everything to be okay tomorrow..” i said and she hummed

Next evening

We just reached delhi.. i already had a can booked for us.. we sat in and drove off to her place.. i held her hand

“You okay Teju ?” I asked and she nodded as she took a deep breath.

“Everything will be fine !!” I assured her and she smiled. Oh man, i can die for her smiles

After sometime we reached her place.. she held my hand and took a deep breath. She rung the doorbell. After a few minutes.. a guy certainty few years elder that me whom i suppose to be Tejasswi’s brother opened the door.. and his face softened and he took her in and engulfing hug..
