Karan’s pov

I rung the doorbell and she quickly opened the door in her office outfit.. looking hot as usual.. i pecked her lips

“Tum baitho.. main fatafat touch up kr ke aai..” she went in while i set up the breakfast on the table.. she came after a while and sat beside me on the couch.. we hd our breakfast and then she rested her head on my shoulder

“Thank you Karan..” she said and i kissee her head and pulled her closer by her waist and she looked up at me

“I’ll always be there for you.. just remember that..” i said and she nodded

We went down and then i drove off to her office first.. she removed her seat belt and i turned to her

“I’ll pick you up?” I asked and she shook her head

“Nhi.. I don’t want you to take extra load on yourself..” she said and i cupped her face

“I would love to do this Tejasswi.. trust me I really would love to do it..” i said and she nodded

“Okay..” she said and kissed my cheek.. i pecked her lips and she got out and waved me bye and then i drove off to my office

I was comparatively so happy today.. i was in a good mood to work today.. i was standing near the glass wall of my ofc looking outside and thinking about Tejasswi..

“Karan..” i heard dad’s voice and i turned to see him coming.. i went to him and hugged him

“Papa kaise ho aap..” i parted and he sat down

“Main toh thik hun.. tu bta.. tu thik Hain na.. pichli baar jab ghr aaya tha tab bhut disturbed lg rha tha..” he asked and i sat beside him on the sofa

“Thida issue tha papa.. but abhi it’s all fine..” i answered and he nodded

“Tunhe kitni baar bola hai ki professional kaam ghr tk ni phunchna chahiye..” he scolded and now what do i tell him.. that it was not some professional work.. idk.. if it is too soon to reveal about my relationship with Tejasswi.. so i decide to stay quite

“Sorry dad.. kbhi kbhi kabhar even you know ki cheezein dimaag se ni nikal pati hai.” I said and he nodded

“It’s okay.. but Karan I’m tensed for you.. tere shaadi ke filhaal koi plans Nahi Hain.. tere itne koi friends hain nahi. upar se poora time office work.. pls don’t become like what i had become..” i smiled and looked at him

“Papa.. i m ur Xerox copy.. and aapko bhi toh mom mil gya na.. that too love marriage.. meri bhi ho jayegi..” i shrugged and he nodded

“I hope that’s true and you don’t become too closed off..” he said and shook my head.. since Tejasswi is now there in my life.. i know that I’ve found my life partner

Tejasswi’s pov

It was evening when i was still in my cabin.. komal knocked on the door as it was still open

“Ma’am..” she said

“It’s Tejasswi for you komal..” I said without looking up from my laptop

“Koi wait kr rha hai aapka..” she said and i looked up to see her smirking.. she came in and closed the door

“you got the grumpiest man everrr..”

“He’s not..” i said and she shook her head

“That’s not true.. i mean.. he is so fucking grumpy.. the days you didn’t come to the ofc i heard that day ki the first day he came into the ofc.. someone bumped into him and he was so angry at him...” she said and i shrugged

“but he likes u a lot..” she smiled

“okay... Oh shit.. he’s waiting downstairs..” she ran out and i packed my stuff and went down.. i saw his car and he was leaning on the car door.. i went there and he opened the back door as it was the other car and with a driver.. he sat beside me and pecked my lips

“Your driver’s here..” i whispered and he sat straight.. he was much in casual clothes rn.. and for the first time i saw him being a little relaxed.. all the time that I’ve met him.. he’s been in his ofc attire only.. but rn.. his tie was loosened and shirt sleeves were rolled up and his hair was messy.. i held his forearm and rested my head on his shoulder.. he held my hnd and intertwined our fingers together and kissed the back of my hand

“How was ur day..?” I asked

“Stupid..” he answered and rested his head on mine

“What went wrong..” i asked as i kissed his cheek

“First of all i missed u & the meeting i had today.. it got messed up..” he answered and i nodded slowly

“It’s okay..ek meeting acchi ni gyi toh kya hua.. maybe.. kal ka din accha jaaye ?” I said and he shrugged

“Okay listen.. No talking abt office.. outside the premises of our offices..” he said and i chuckled

“These are some ground rules ?” I asked and he pecked my pout

“Maybe.. but you know.. mom dad have made us give a promise to them.. that weekends pe.. No one’s gonna talk abt work.. until and unless it’s very important…” i nodded

“Abhi hum kahan ja rhe hain vse ?” I asked and he shrugged

“You tell? Where should we go ? Your place or mine ?” He asked

“Mine..” he nodded

Karan’s pov

It’s been three weeks into our relationship and trust me when i say this.. I’ve never been this happy in anyone else’s company.. i wanted to take her to my apartment today finally.. i wanted some changes so she still has never been to my own apartment.. so we both were at her place rn.. Friday night.. we both had changed into our comfortable clothes.. I had brought a night suit and a change for tomorrow morning.. We were currently in the kitchen making dinner..
We were making white sauce pasta and garlic bread.. Tejasswi was done with making the sauce so i poured the pasta in the sauce and she stirred them together on low flame.. i back hugged her while she was still stirring it.. i kissed her head

“Karan..” i hummed

“mujhe delhi jaana hai..” she said and i still… she turned off the flame and turned towards me..

“manav bhai ka birthday hai.. and.. it’s been.. three years that I’ve been to delhi..” she said and i nodded

“iss baar he is requesting a lot for me to come there.. main tumhe le ke jaana chahti hun saath.. par.. papa ko directly tum se introduce krane se pehle m khud papa se baat krna chahti hun..” i nodded in understanding

“Just tell me one thing.. will you be fine ?” I asked and she shrugged

“I don’t know..” she whispered

“I seriously don’t know.. darr lg rha hai..” she said and looked up at me
I want to stop her from going but kya bolke rokun ? I cupped her face

“Teri family tera support krti hai.. tera bhai bhi hai vahan.. tu bhi brave hai.. and i know.. you will rock it..” i said with a heavy heart “kitne dino ke liye ja rhi hai.. ?”

“Wednesday jaungi.. Thursday birthday hai.. but bhai wants me to stay.. and try to move on.. toh next Monday ya Tuesday ko vapis aungi..” she said and i nodded

“Okay.. it’s okay.. just remember.. if you ever feel like talking.. i m just one call away.. tu jab chahe call kr lena.. without thinking of the time.. without thinking ki shayad m meeting m hounga.. kuch ni sochna.. just one call..” i said and she nodded.. she rested her head on my chest and i hugged her tightly.. i never want her to go there but i also know that she has to some or the other day go there

Tejasswi’s pov

We were lying all cuddled up on my bed and he was just caressing my hair

“Tejasswi..” i hummed

“i know.. you.. feel guilty and that’s why you don’t wanna come in front of my parents.. but.. i want you to meet them.. they are waiting to meet you..” he said and honestly.. even i wanted to meet his parents and apologise to them.. and even thank them.. i want to meet them as Karan’s girlfriend because i am hoping a future with him..

“Tumne unhe bataya kab ?” I asked and he sighed

“Meri duffer behen ne bataya hai..” he said and i got confused

~Flashback starts~

Karan’s pov

It was again a Saturday and our family dinner.. we were currently having our dinner and just before that me and urmi  had a conversation over telling mom dad about me and Tejasswi.. it is not that I don’t wanna tell because i am not sure.. i am hundred percent sure that she is the only girl i want to spend my entire life with but i know the excitement mumma is gonna show when she knows about her.. and right now.. as she said.. she was not ready to meet them.. urmi  was still giving me looks.. i shook my head and continued eating.. she fake coughed and i knew what she was gonna do

“Urmi ..” i glared at her

“Maa.. papa.. Sahil.. Karan bhai has a girlfriend..” she said in one go and papa spit out the juice he was drinking while Sahil paused his spoon in front of his mouth.. such a drama queen he is.. while mom was just staring at me

“Urmi .. bomb fodne se pehle warning krte h logon ko..” i glared at her and then looked at the other three and sighed

“Is it such a big shock that i am dating someone ?” I asked

“Yes..” except for urmi .. all three said in unison

“What’s her name !?” Sahil asked

“Milwa kab rha hai ?” mom said

“Kaisa nature hai kum se kum describe toh kar..” dad said

“Ek minute.. shaanti..” i yelled and everyone became quiet

“Shaanti naam hai unka?” Sahil said and i smacked his head while urmi  laughed

“and wait.. use pta hai and aapne mujhe ni btaya.. jab ki u tell me everything…”

“Becausee.. she is my best friend..” urmi  said and i nodded

“Tejasswi ?” Mom asked and i looked at her.. mom looked at me and .....
