Chapter Ten: Crush?Bases!?!

With that the powerful sound of a bell echoed threw my ears and the other students. Robin quickly just as yesterday grabbed his stuff and zoomed out of the classroom. I sighed letting air hit the top of my bangs.

Rachel then started walking over to me with a hoodie over her blue hair showing only her blue eyes and pale peach lips. She was wearing black jeans and blue small boots. She then pushed it back when everyone left and we were the last ones to leave. Under her eye was a circular color of purple.

At first I was confused I didn't see it yesterday when she was at the nurses office. Why was she there in the first place. "Eye catching isn't it?" Her dry low voice brought me back to reality. I nodded slowly.

"If I may ask Rachel,what happened? Why do you have a purple eye? Why were you at the nurses office." I questioned her as we began to walk to class. Luckily we both had Choir next.

"Well," she paused as if she were thinking of not to tell me. "Remember when I told you to run because of Kate." She asked. I nodded in response.

"Yes,I do." Now thinking back a little more.

"Well let's just say she caught up to me first." She scoffed. My mouth dropped

"She did this to you When?Why?" I know I barely knew Rachel but I couldn't help the anger it brought me. We entered the class and sat next to each other. My eyes froze as I met up with the same black shades I've been meeting my eyes with. Rachel though however,was silent until Kate came in.

"Try not to look at him to much,okay?" Rachel consider. I knitted my eyebrows.

"Why?" I whispered to her. She came close as if what she'd about to say could kill her.

"That's Kate, the total slut bag. She kill you if she finds out you have a crush on her boyfriend." My eyes widen.

Boyfriend?crush?

"What?" I nudged her elbow. She somehow smiled.

"Are you blushing,Starfire?" She raised her eyebrow and the corner of her lip. I picked up my fingers to feel the heat in my cheeks grow.

"You have a crush on the guy don't you." I shook my head. Knowing my answer.

"What,of course not I would never like a guy I just met on the first day." Did I? Do I have the crush on Robin. I'm a telling the truth about what I feel against him?

The screeching sound of chalk echoed in my ear waking me up from the dreams of questions." Okay class well be assigning groups of five.".....

First one:

Jenna (Jinx) a girl with pink hair walked like a model down the classroom towards the front. Wearing Black boots,black jeans and a great sweater.

Henry (kid flash) a boy with red hair ran towards the front wrapping his arm around Jenna shoulders.

Terra!! A girl with with blonde hair and bright blue eyes walked shyly in front of the class.

Kate, the slut like Rachel says.

"You all well be performing one song and the winner well get the scholarship." He paused as he was going to continue he was interrupted.

"WAIT,I want to be with my Roobie poo." My eyes faced down and my nails buried into my skin of my arm.

"SHUT UP!" The class chanted at her. She rolled her eyes.

"Okay, got to yours groups. Get to know each other."

Rachel and I walked into a circular table we the rest of the boys sat."let's sing a love song. All my ladies fans we love it." A smile grew he was the boy who first helped me with Jackson. The memory giving me shivers.

"No way, man. Were singing DJ. The boy I remember I bumped into with the grey sweater argued.

I saw Rachel rolled her eyes. As we sat down I sat in the middle of her and...Robin. "Why don't we both see what our voices are capable of first. Then decide on a category." Rachel said annoyed. "Now,sing you two!" They both began but I drifted off into thoughts of my own into the questions I had there.

Did I like him? If I did who he like me BACK?! Is he really Kate's boyfriend? I looked over and saw his shades glued toward the floor. Was he okay? I had some courage in asking him. While the two boys screamed out crying cats. "Robin are you-" His face glanced at me quickly.

"I'm fine." He replied coldly. Somehow it hurt in my chest the way he spoke. Spoke to me.

"I-I didn't mean to upset yo-" His fisted slammed against the table luckily the boys voices were loud that no one heard it. Not even poor Rachel who was trying to find a perfect song for them to sing.

"I said I'm FINE!" He rose his voice.

Though I hated Robins reaction. I looked down letting the stubborn red hair fall. Why was he acting this way? How can he be so kind then pretend nothing ever happened? What it me? Did I do something wrong? Why is this bothering me?

A loud yell woke me from my ocean of questions. "No,no,no, you guys can't sing love songs and you can't Rap!" She yelled at Logan and Jeff.

"I can play DJ..." Jeff spoke quietly. Rachel thought then nodded.

"Cool, you'll play DJ. Logan you can play the bass notes." Then she turned to us. " what can you two do?" I shrugged.

I really didn't want to sing. It was something I did on my own. Also, I just wasn't in the mood.

"Sing!" She ordered. I first started at her then I thought of a song. Then decided to sing.

I can be tough

I can be strong

But with you it's not like that at all.

There's a girl that gives a sh*t behind this wall,you just walk through it.

I sang, wish you were here by Avril. It fit the mood and I couldn't think of any other song. Everyone,including Robins shades eyed me. Like if they were trying to burn a hole in my head.

"Star you be lead singer." Then turned to Robin.

"You?" His shades looked at me again. I still couldn't find a expression on him.

No I don't want to be anything other than someone you could leave.

Love is in my arms every now then again,but I don't want to harm like I know I can,cause I don't want to stay cause everybody knows that something always goes wrong.

He stopped I almost dropped my mouth at his voice he sang with some much passion."Robin you'll lead with Star."

"Hey!What about you!" Logan whined. Raven rolled her eyes.

"I'll play the triangle."

Then out of the blue. There was a loud BOOM!

"This well teach the new slut bag not to take things that don't belong to her." She laughed. Her blonde hair bounced as her other girls laughed.

"She's gonna have to stay longer to clean this mess. Now she'll never get Robin to take her home." She claps her hands together seeing her wonderful work being done.
