Chapter Forty-Two: Never been so cold.

Star's Pov...

I've never been so cold.

Never been so terrified...

Never have I ever begged for mercy...

  The room was cold. Darkness was all I could see. The light was taken from me. I felt my hands tied towards my back. I was tied Down to a chair. Gagged with a dirty cloth.

The air was thick,I could barely breath. My heart was beating weakly.

Robin...

Robin....

Robin!

I began shaking uncontrollably,tears staining the blind fold. I wiggled my hands trying to break free,the rope bit into my skin,burning it as well.

Then my world stopped,a door was opened and shut closed. I stopped,and for a moment so did my breath. The fear of the unknown was eating me alive...ROBIN.

I flinch at a sudden touch,a strand of my hair was lifted. I whimpered as someone inhaled my scent. I felt disgusted.

"Do you wish to see?" A low voice echoed in the room. Shivers of fear ran up my spine.

A chuckle,"well you can't really talk can you?" He removed my gag harshly,then the blind fold.

As my eyes adjusted towards the figure,all I could see was white....

Robin's Pov....

No no no! How could you be so stupid! You let her out of you're sight and screw up!

  My mind wasn't relaxed,my body was aching with pain and anger. Growing inpatient as Xavier did what he can to track her down,convince the people of the streets for any information.

It was just a second....

Kori...I failed you I'm sorry...

I knew that Slade was involved in this...I knew that he'd break her,do horrible things to her....or....

Maybe tell him what I really am...

My soul tremble in thought...

"Robin..." Xavier voice fadded out...

I stood quickly,rubbing my irritated eyes. "What is it,anything??" Xavier nodded letting a slow sigh.

"We have to mve quickly....he plans on ending her life...tonight." Xavier words were bullets of fear through my body.

And in seconds we were on our way.

Rachel's Pov...

Somewhere I knew something was wrong...looking up at the evening sky...my heart was twisting with something..a fear of the unknown. I sighed as I saw Logan's car drive into my drive way.

My dad had left for a business trip...I'm used to him leaving. Logan climbed into the roof,and immediately pulled my head towards his shoulder...

"Logan why do you like me?" I felt him tense behind me...

"Rachel I dont like you..." I gasped. "Rachel I love you..." I lifted my eyes towards his beautiful green ones.

"Garfield if you're joking I swear I-" Logan hushed me with his lips. Calming me,making me feel alive and warm...he loves me....he loves me....

Some one loves me....

"Logan..." I said breathless...my eyes dazed,cheeks red. He smiled,spreading joy and warmth through me. He rubbed my cheek with his thumb.

"Rachel...." He whispered planting more kisses. My eye lids...my forehead...my cheek...and my lips.

"I love you too,Logan." I whispered the three words I thought I'd never say....
