Chapter 1-Tanner

Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep

I hit the snooze button on my alarm clock. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes.Today is officially the first day of senior year.The last year I have to make this the best year yet. Before we all go off to college and university.

I quickly got dressed, grabbed my phone and my keys then headed out the door. I got in my car and then headed into town to pick up Aria.

I quickly jumped out of my now parked car, knocked on the door, and then went in.

"Hi Rachel! Aria downstairs?"

"Hi Tanner! She's just finishing getting ready."

"Okay thanks."

I bounded down the stairs and across the lounge. I knocked on her door.

"Come in." Her sweet voice said from behind the other side of the door.

I opened it and jumped on her bed.

"Hey Ar!" I squealed in a girly way.

"Hey Tanny" She mimicked back

"Ready to go?"

"Yep." She said popping the 'p'

She grabbed her book bag and wallet then we headed up the stairs and out the door. We hopped in my car.

"Ready for senior year?"

"Nope. So get driving so I don't go back into the house."

I rolled my eyes and started the car.

"Are we picking up Hailee?"

"Yea I think so." She pulled out her phone shooting a text to Hailee I assume."Yea we are." Aria said in confirmation.

I soon pulled off the highway and into the subdivision. I pulled into Hailee's driveway.

Hailee came out of her house and hopped in the back seat.

"Hey guys." She greeted us with a smile.

"Hey."

"Hi."

"Thanks for the ride Tanner. I missed the bus this morning."

"Your welcome."

soon we entered the grounds and I parked the car, we all got out and headed to  the cafeteria and met all our other friends.

Time to start a new school year.
