Pov Seungmin
He was just sitting there, next to them, without saying a word. He didn't want to. He couldn't talk anyway. His throat hurt.
Then Jisung slowly approached them, and Seungmin looked away, unlike his three friends who were staring at him.
I mean, who wouldn't? He was the hottest boy in their school. And Seungmin agreed, but didn't want to say it.
"Seungmin, can I talk to you?"
"You can, but he can't. Just saying."
Hyunjin said, saving Seungmin from saying a single word since his throat hurt and he shouldn't talk.
Seungmin stood up, and went in front of him, but without giving him a single glance.
"I'm going to skip every class after the first one, but I'll tell you why once school is done."
"Why then?"
Seungmin whispered, finally looking up to Jisung's eyes, feeling butterflies in his stomach
"Because.. Because I'm afraid that if I tell you now, people will hear. And I don't want that."
Jisung said with a low voice, not wanting anyone to hear him. He really wanted some privacy.
"He's there! Jisungie!"
They heard that one girl shouting, as she and her friends started to run towards Jisung, making Seungmin a bit jealous.
"Heather! Uhm... Why don't you and your friends go to class so you can be the first ones to see me there?"
Jisung asked, smiling awkwardly. Heather left happily with her friends, and Jisung turned back, eyeing Seungmin again.
"Are you... Going to the festival?"
Seungmin said with a cracked, low, shaky voice. Jisung looked around him, making sure that no one was around.
"Yes. As a guest. To sing. That's why I'll skip school, I'm gonna practice. Why? Do you want to go too?"
Seungmin's eyes lit up, and he smiled, nodding slightly. Jisung giggled, and took a card out of his pocket.
"VIP? To sing? My voice is dead."
"Hey. You don't have to sing if you don't want to. But, with this, you can enter the backstage. And I want you there."
Seungmin took the card, and carefully put it in his bag. He looked around him, trying to find someone.
"What about Minho? Where is he by the way?"
"Oh. He's already in class. Well, I gave him a pass too, but I don't think his problems will let him go out. Tho I really, really want him there."
The elder said, his face becoming sad. Seungmin didn't like seeing people sad. It made him sad too.
I need to make Minho go asap.
He thought about Jisung's suggestion for a bit, when his mind travelled back to Heather. An idea popped up in his mind.
"I'll be there. Now go, your girl is waiting for you."
Jisung nodded, and turned around, without telling Seungmin that he didn't like Heather.
And Seungmin really wanted to hear that. He rolled his eyes, and went back to his seat.
Hyunjin motioned the others to stand up, wanting to walk for a bit. None of them liked sitting for that much.
"Hyunjin, remember that thing I told you yesterday?"
Seungmin whispered, trying to save his voice for the festival. He didn't know if he would sing a song on stage, but he would definitely sing along with everyone to any song they'd play there.
"That you are...?"
"Yeah. You know what? You can tell them. They have to know."
The younger said, pointing at Felix and Jeongin, causing a confused look appear on both of their faces.
"Oh. Well, guys, remember how we used to ship Seungmin with every girl that was here?"
"He got a girlfriend?!"
Felix shouted happily, but loud. Jisung hadn't gone far away, nor did the boys, so he heard everything they said.
Seungmin saw him. But he didn't pay more attention to him. He had more serious things to do.
"No. He will never get a girlfriend."
"That sounded like so mean."
Felix said with the most Australian accent he could, making Seungmin laugh with the face he made.
"I didn't mean thattt. I mean, he will never get a girlfriend."
"Ohhh- wait. Wait a minute! Seungmin you like boys?"
Jeongin asked, covering his mouth, so no one would hear him. He was a quiet person, unlike Felix.
"Yeah. And after years of questioning his sexuality, he yesterday realised he is gay."
Seungmin smiled, thanking Hyunjin for talking on his behalf. And to make sure they wouldn't ask him anything, he took out his bottle of water, and started to drink.
"Who do you like?! Cause there's no other explanation you found out like that. Wait, did you make out with anyone?"
Felix asked, without a single warning. Seungmin's eyes opened wide and he almost choked on his water.
"You're gonna kill me. I like no one, I just realised it- why do you ask so many questions?"
He murmured, wiping the water off his face. Felix raised his hands, doing an 'I don't know' pose.
"Hey, someone just sent a message in our class's group chat saying that mister Wang is sick so the first class is dismissed."
Seungmin sighed relieved. He didn't like science, tho he was really good at it. He knew literally everything.
"I'm going back to the cafeteria. I need to buy some water, mine is on the ground."
He whispered, glaring at Felix. He gave his bag to Hyunjin and started to walk through the cafeteria.
He was staring at his phone, and didn't realise he was almost at the stadium instead of the cafeteria, until he heard a bunch of masculine boys running towards him.
One of them accidentally pushed him back, causing him to fall down with his back, in a small mud pit.
He groaned, and forced himself up, in a sitting position. He looked at his hoodie, and sighed.
It was ruined, and didn't have another one with him, neither could he take a bath there. The bathroom was disgusting.
He then saw someone stopping in front of him. Well, he only saw the boy's legs.
He slowly looked up, and saw Jisung smiling at him. He reached out his hand, trying to help Seungmin up.
As Seungmin stood up, he looked away. He was still jealous, thinking that Jisung actually liked Heather.
"Your hoodie- damn, wait."
Jisung said, leaving his bag om the ground. He took of his jacket, and then his sweater.
As he wore his jacket again, he handed his sweater to Seungmin, who looked at him with puppy eyes.
"But you are wearing nothing else..."
He whispered, and Jisung shook his head. He closed his jacket, and smiled, motioning Seungmin to go to the bathroom.
"Go change. I'll wait for you here."
