The car had been driving smoothly, but their relief was short-lived when the dreaded flashing blue and red lights appeared behind them. Norton, Warren's tag-along and troublemaker, had pulled them over. Everyone in the van groaned, knowing that dealing with Norton wouldn't be pleasant.

Y/n, Jesse, and Jade had their own reasons to dislike him. It had been two weeks since Norton had shown up at Y/n's house, asking about Jade. Y/n had feigned ignorance, claiming she didn't know Jade's whereabouts, which was partially true since Jade rarely came around because Warren didn't allow it. Norton's demeanor and lustful glances had left Y/n feeling disgusted and angry. She remembered it well as she stood on the stairwell in her translucent robe, cigarette in her mouth, feeling the cold wind against her skin.

The car came to a stop, and Jesse cursed loudly, clearly irritated by the situation. The police car pulled up, and Norton approached them with a fake-friendly demeanor. Jesse explained that they were just on a drive, but Norton seemed skeptical. He asked them to step out of the van, and the dolls and Y/n knew they were in for a confrontation with Warren's troublemaking friend.

As Jesse and Jade reluctantly stepped out of the van, Y/n watched from her plastic doll body, knowing that Norton was up to no good. She couldn't make out their conversation, but it was clear it wasn't a friendly one. Suddenly, Jade reached over and punched Norton squarely in the face. The blow sent him stumbling backward, and the onlookers gasped in shock. Y/n wished she could have cheered Jade on if she were still human. Jesse tried to defuse the situation by pulling Jade back.

Norton looked angry and raised his hands to defend himself, clearly ready to retaliate. The tense scene continued, and Y/n knew that this encounter wouldn't end peacefully. Jesse reassured Jade, and she rushed off toward the store, leaving just Norton and Jesse standing there.

Norton instructed Jesse to stand over to the side, and Jesse complied with a roll of his eyes. Y/n, Chucky, and Tiffany watched closely as Norton, holding a flashlight, began inspecting the van, clearly searching for anything incriminating. Y/n wanted to laugh at his desperation but couldn't. Norton was trying everything he could to use against Jesse and Jade. He was determined to separate them, but Y/n knew that Norton was nowhere near as dangerous as Warren.

Norton's flashlight started to move toward the back of the van, and Y/n's plastic heart raced with anxiety. She knew what he was about to do next and prepared herself. The two dolls looked at each other, sharing an unspoken understanding.

Suddenly, Tiffany and Chucky kicked Norton in the head, causing him to cry out in pain. He dropped the bag of weed he had been holding, and the flashlight fell to the ground. Y/n felt a rush of adrenaline, knowing that she had to act quickly to prevent Jesse and Jade from getting arrested. She also couldn't help but feel herself getting more attached and human-like as time went on. Time was running out, and she was desperate.

In the chaos, she had an idea, a way to stop Norton. If Jesse and Jade were arrested, they'd never make it to New Jersey. She knew she had to take a drastic step to save them and herself.

Norton waved the bag of weed in front of Jesse and asked what it was. Jesse acted clueless, responding with an aggravated tone, claiming he didn't know. But Norton was not in the mood to play games and pushed Jesse against the van, demanding an explanation. He threatened Jesse, reminding him that just because Warren might be there didn't mean he wouldn't charge him.

Norton left Jesse and walked back to his police car, and as he did, Jesse kicked one of the car's lights. Frustration was evident on his face. Y/n felt a sense of anticipation and determination, a dark energy inside her. She knew what she had to do to get rid of Norton.

After being provided with a lighter from Tiffany, Y/n wrapped herself in one of Jesse's old blankets and slowly moved to the other side of the car, out of Jesse's sight. She listened to Norton's conversation on the phone, which was filled with complaints about the kid, and she couldn't stand it. She set the blanket inside the car on fire, a plan forming in her mind.

She then returned to where she came from, and the dolls watched with curiosity. Norton, smelling the gas, began to realize something was wrong. The fire started growing, and the blanket got hotter. Before he could react, the van exploded, sending debris flying and causing panic among the people nearby.

Jade, who had been at the store, dropped her groceries as she saw the explosion. Chucky was impressed, calling it psycho stuff, but Y/n saw it as revenge. Jesse and Jade got into the car, and they took off, leaving the chaos behind.

A girl with blonde pigtails, headset on her ears, pointed to the van as they drove away. Jesse mumbled something about doing an Uno reverse, and they sped off. The dolls watched the havoc and chaos unfold, feeling like they had successfully escaped from Norton's clutches.
