Casting Off
With the 'Red Serpent' at our command, we set sail on a journey that would take us into uncharted waters, deadly storms, and the heart of darkness itself. Our destination was the lair of the Mother of All Sea Monsters, a place no one had ever returned from. I spent most of my days in my cabin and everyone knew not to come in and distract me. Honestly, I wouldn't have minded the crew coming into the cabin and checking on me. The only person who would was, of course, Joshua. He was the only one who understood me. He knew everything about me, sometimes things I didn't know about myself.
Joshua was an interesting character. He could figure out things about a person without even knowing their name. He knew what he wanted to do in life and made sure everything was planned before we left. Of course, you can never trust that things will go your way. You can expect a storm a week before it happens when at sea but you can't expect a surprise attack from rival pirates. He could have easily become a spy for the kingdom but he decided to become a pirate... and my partner
The Trials of the Sea
The sea, as beautiful as it was treacherous, tested our resolve at every turn. We battled fierce storms that threatened to tear our ship apart and faced hostile pirates who sought to plunder our treasures. Through it all, Joshua and I clung to each other, finding strength in our love and a shared determination to save our kingdom. As we pressed on, our love story continued to unfold, a tale of unlikely heroes defying the odds and facing the unknown with unwavering devotion to each other and the cause. If it weren't for Joshua I don't think I would be living to tell the tale today. He is truly a spectacular man who knows what he's worth and knew why he was there.

A/N: ok just if anyone caught on the last sentence, I did with the ending to the chorus of "Pretty Distraction" because it's stuck in my head. Also sorry that this chapter is just two paragraphs, I didn't have a lot of inspiration. Bye! :)
