Walking through the village, Eugene began to think of the things he would need to tame a Skrill. 'I know how to tame a Skrill, but there's no guarantee that I can even find one in this specific storm. Hmm, but I'll probably never have a better shot at finding one than right now.' Groaning, he shook his head, before he ran toward the forge the things he needed for his.

"This should work." Grabbing a metal dagger, he takes his time to prepare in case things go wrong. He took his sword and shield, a few bolas, and rope. 'Better safe than sorry.' After grabbing what he needed he bolted back into the heavy rain.

Bolting towards the forest, he ran through it, slipping a few times as he ran towards a high cliff. It took him a while, but finally reaching his destination he began to scale it as carefully as he could, not wanting to fall to his death from slipping.

"Ugh I couldn't have chosen any other dragon to tame... it just had to be a Skrill." He groaned as he continued his climb. Grabbing an exposed rock he grabs it as he tries pulling himself up before it breaks apart from his weight.

"Crap!" He shouts slipping before he grabs another exposed rock to stop the fall. "Too close..." He said breathing heavily.

Climbing a bit more he managed to make it to the top. As he saw that the lightning was more concentrated here than everywhere else, he knew he found his dragon.

"So it looks like I'm getting my dragon after all." The thought of having his own Skrill sent shocks of excitement down his spine.

Before he could prepare to catch the dragon, an ear-piercing roar erupted from the sky. Covering his ears Eugene looked up, a huge shadow flashing through the dark clouds.

"What the heck is that, it looks nothing like a Skrill?!" He yelled, before a bolt of lightning barrels down towards him.

Dodging out of the way he was shocked at how he just dodged something as fast as lightning before realizing it was no natural lightning he dodged.

"Well crap..."

Looking up, a huge dragon landed on the cliff, staring straight at him. The dragon was a deep purple, almost akin to black, it had four legs and two large wings on its back, with metallic-like spines lining its back, and finally a spiked crown upon its head.

"That is no ordinary Skrill..." The hairs all over his body stood on end as the huge dragon unfurled its massive wings.

Roaring, the dragon charged in his direction attempting to catch him in its jaws. Before it had the chance to bite down he rolled to the side, taking out his shield for protection.

"Oi! Can't we talk about this?!" He tried reasoning with it, but it only roared, before firing a blast of blue lightning. Dodging in the nick of time he crashed into the dirt rolling before immediately getting back up.

"Looks like we're doing this the hard way!" Taking out his sword, he dashed toward the Skrill.

As he ran forward, the Skrill shot more lightning at him, dodging and ducking as he made his way closer and closer. The Skrill then began charging its lightning for another attack, but it was too late, Eugene was already in front of it.

"Oh no you don't!"

Before it could finish charging its lighting shot, he jumped at its head bashing it with his shield as hard as he could only to barely stun it as it looked angrier than before. Lifting its front legs it began swiping at him, trying to catch him between its big body and the ground to end him.

All he could do was dodge, hoping for a chance to gain the upper hand, but fighting a Skrill in a storm such as this, was suicide, it drew its power from storms, fueling itself with its lightning, and both he and the dragon knew that.

"Dang it!" He shouts as the dragon fires bolts of lightning at him, almost throwing him off the cliff.

Getting up he glared daggers at the dragon. It looked like it enjoyed toying with him, as it appeared to be grinning at him.

"Smart and powerful... not a good combo." He huffed as he once again charged the Skrill.

Before he could reach it, it had already made its move. Now in the air, it began diving at him, seeing this he ducked out of the way before slashing at its chest. Roaring in pain the dragon slams to the ground, before getting up enraged and roaring at Eugene.

"Not so fun when you're not the one winning, is it?" He taunted the dragon.

It didn't seem to like the taunt because right after, it screeched, as it began charging its body with lighting as it slightly glowed.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me." Running away from the electrically surging dragon he ducked behind some rocks as a pulse of electricity illuminated the cliff.

As the dust settled Eugene opened his eyes, as he peered over the rocks to see the surrounding grass had been scorched. Whistling, Eugene walked out from behind his cover.

"You really tried to kill me... Taming you is going to be fun." He said grinning as the Skrill snarled at him.

His heart raced, beating in his ears like drums, as he refocused on the battle. Looking forward, the Skrill awaited.

'Truly a dragon worth taming.'

Seeing that the electric blast seemed to have drained some of the dragon's strength he rushed forward, using this chance whilst he still had it, knowing this was his shot at taking the dragon down.

As soon as he was close he slashed across its chest again making the wound across its chest larger. The dragon screeched in pain as it stood on its hind legs, attempting to crush him as it slammed down. Dodging he barely put up his shield in time as a blast of lightning hit him, throwing the shield off the cliff edge.

Snarling, the rage-filled Skrill screeches as lightning cracks in the distance, before charging at Eugene. Without backing down, Eugene ran at the dragon while gripping his sword tightly.

As the dragon swiped its claws at him, he slid under its claw, slashing its legs and attempting to bring it down. The strikes landed, awarding him with an out-of-control dragon, as it flew forward, unable to stop itself from crashing into a pile of boulders.

Quickly using this moment, he took out the rope had stored away, before quickly running next to the dragon, as he began tying its legs, and wings, before he finally fell back. He did it, he somehow beat this unique Skrill.

'Seriously, how did I manage to survive this? This thing is just huge. Not only that it's also smart and cunning. I'll definitely tame this guy.' He thought, smiling as he breathed heavily, finally able to catch his breath.

"Now, how am I going to get you down from here?"
