The Red Death

The whole village was preparing for war. Vikings carried weapons and supplies, throwing them into their boats as they began preparing their assault on the dragon's nest. They carry a now bound Toothless toward a boat tying him down on a wooden platform, before chaining him and putting a clamp on his head before using a crane they lift the dragon onto the boat.

"Set Sail! We head for Helhiem's Gate." Stoick shouted as he commanded his viking army to move. Looking back he saw Hicca and Eugene looking over the docks as they watched them leave. He could only turn away from them, giving a heavy sigh before looking at Toothless. "Lead us home, devil."

Hicca continued to watch as they sailed away until they were out of sight, Eugene sitting beside her as they gazed in the direction they sailed in.

"This is all my fault." Hicca said, blaming herself for the current situation they found themselves in.

"No, it isn't." Eugene told her glancing up at her as he leaned back, his legs dangling over the edge of the wooden platform they were on.

"But it is! None of this would have happened if I just killed that stupid dragon!" She yelled, clenching her fist in frustration.

"You can't change what's already happened, but you can dang sure stop what will happen. Come on, we got work to do, and fast." Eugene told her as he stood up, both of them racing off toward the arena.

"Listen, Stoick, I overheard some of the men talking and, well, some of them are wondering what it is we're up to here... not me of course, I know you're always the man with the plan, but some, not me, are wondering if there is in fact a plan at all, and what it might be?" Gobber said as he walked up to Stoick.

"We find the nest and take it out."

"Ah. Of course. Send them running. The old viking fallback. Nice and simple."

"Shhh." Stoick stopped him from talking as he looked at Toothless, his ears twitching at the sound of chirping. "Step aside." He said moving the viking who stirred the ship away.

Toothless moved his head in the direction of the noise, Stoick following his head movements began stirring the ship to match.

"So this was your idea?" Eugene said as he and Hicca stood in front of the cage.

"I never said it was a good idea..." She told him shrugging her shoulders. Before they could get on with her plan a voice called out to them.

"If you guys are planning on getting eaten, I'd definitely go with the Gronckle."

Turning around they see all the other teens walking up to them.

"Well, this makes things a lot easier doesn't it." Eugene said, tapping Hicca's shoulder.

"Yes, yes it does."

"So? What is the plan?" Astrid asked the two.

Stoick and the rest of the vikings continued to sail through the mist-covered waters where they saw signs that they were nearing their final destination.

"Oh... I was wondering where that went." Gobber chuckled slightly.

Finally reaching land, Toothless began to thrash wildly trying to break free from his bonds, the chirping around him and the vikings growing louder and louder before silencing upon Stoick's feet hitting the gravel.
