I unlocked my eyes.

My head throbbing, due to the carveneous affliction all around it.

The blaring thunderings from the disastrous clouds weren't unheard.

They felt as if enouncing the enourmous unfeigned tenderness that gruesomely converted into cataclysmic bitterness. What a tragedy.

My eyes roamed around the surroundings still unknown. Undesirably, my heart got filled with an unrevealed agitation.

And all of it came out to be perfectly reasonable when my eyes met with the mismatched ones.

"What more do you want?" My eyes stared straight into the mismatched orbs. His orbs incognito.

"Nothing but..you" The words echoed within the empty room while his steps were approached towards my direction.

"You lost me the moment you gained someone." My eyes averted themselves away, not wanting the traitor tears to play their game of betrayal once again.

"What if I say, I didn't?"

My eyes moved towards his mismatched ones. And my heart distastefully skipped a beat when his eyes showed anything but integrity.

"See, it was you..you whom I loved. But before you, comes the damn empire that was meant to be mine. But my dear father had the deal that it could only be mine, if I married that emotional fool, Preesha.

So dear paramour, I was the one who created this whole conglomeration of a game!

Yes I wasn't the player here, because my dear sweetheart, Am the Creator of this Game."

What if a rose is grown, given care, water, nourishment and most importantly given the hope that one day, it will turn out to be beautifully ravishing. But when the day actually comes, the rose is plucked. Plucked out of all the hope, all the desires, and love.

Simply tragic you say. I felt the same. Plucked out of every very emotion one could.

"Unexpected. Was it? Well it was meant to be so." His chuckle echoed. And so did my void heart with vacancy.

"Was it so funny for you?" Unwantedly the layer of tear blurred my vision.

"Trust me, it was." His lips perfectly curved in a cresent.

I smiled. Ever so bitterly.

"Now that I fell for you, I want you. But I also want that empire of mine. So what if we kill two birds with one stone?" He smirked while he was at a mere inches of distance away.

"Stay away." I looked fiercely in his mismatched orbs. While the distance just kept decreasing.

"Can't, sweetheart" His face kept decreasing the few inches.

All of a sudden I saw the glimpse of my father's face. Then my mother. And then her sister's. The three lives that were devastatingly destroyed.

Then I saw the mismatched orbs.

I can't let the history repeat.

I pushed him away with all of my strength.

"I would rather love you as a departed corpse than letting myself dead as a human." I curved my lips ever so fadedly at him.

"Let go..let go of things we aren't capable of dominating." I looked deep into his mismatched orbs. While they stared back with the same intensity.
