Ghosts, Ghouls, And Zombies Oh My!

After closing the door behind you, still smiling, you take Hobi's hand and show him what you call the 'shed.' It was the prop storage room for the haunted village, and you showed him around the room full of scary but fake items.

You lead him down the rows, showing him the different props and supplies and explaining some of them when he asks questions. On the other end of the 'shed' is a door, and you lead him inside. He stands there stunned. 

Several ghouls and zombies in various stages of readiness are sitting in front of lighted mirrors while others apply makeup.

You squeeze his hand, "Hey, are you ok?" 

He smiles, "Wow, yeah. Jungkook would love this."

You laugh, "I'm sure he would. This is our staging area. Everyone comes here to get in costume and put on their special effect makeup and fake facial pieces."

Hobi is very intrigued as you show him around, but he never lets go of your hand, and you don't mind that at all.

As you near one ghoul, she suddenly leans forward and grins with blackened teeth. Hobi pulls back at first, then laughs.

Her eyes widen, "Oh my god, are you? No way, are you J Hope?"

Hobi smiles broadly, "Yes, I am."

She giggles, "I'm such a fan of yours. You are the sunshine in my day."

Hobi blushes, "Thank you. I'm glad I can make a ghoul happy."

Everyone in the staging room starts laughing.

She pulls out a small photo card of him, "I carry this with me for luck and hope at all times."

Hobi smiles, "Can I have a pen?" You hand him a marker, and he signs her card, "To my favorite ghoul friend, may hope and happiness always be yours." he hands her the card back.

"Oh my goodness, thank you! Thank you!" she shows it to the ghoul sitting beside her. 

One of the make-up artists asks Hobi if he would like to apply some torn flesh to one of the zombies. The more Hobi was shown and allowed to do the work, the more comfortable he became. 

As you watch him with a smile on your face, you realize that the plan you and Tae devised is actually helping him.

A man comes in announcing, "Change of shift! Five minutes, everyone!" Zombies, ghouls, and other creatures hurry to finishing touches and head out, chatting and laughing.

Several people come filing in, removing wigs and makeup. Woo comes in with Binna, followed by Jinni and Min. They smile at Hobi.

Woo pats him on the back, "I see you survived."

Hobi laughs, "Yes, I did, and I want to thank you all for being so nice to me and explaining everything."

They let him know they were happy to do it. Min says, "We look forward to seeing you at dinner."

Hobi says, "Sounds great. I look forward to it." He smiles at you. Min and Jinni grin at each other.

"Hobi, I can pick you up for dinner if you want?"

He knows the guys won't mind if he doesn't ride with them to dinner this one time. "That would be great." 

 After deciding the time you would pick him up and after many goodbyes, he leaves the 'shed' and heads in search of the others.

Passing by the side of the house of horror, Hobi sees a zombie leaning on the side. "Have a good night," Hobi waves as he walks past, not realizing it was Dae.

"You too, man." Dae smiles, looking forward to telling Tae and Jaejae that Hobi didn't even jump when he saw him. He puts out his cigarette and heads to the shed to change.
