They realised they didn't need a 'key' to guide them through their journeys because all they needed was each other which is why they burned the one way ticket to the new world and the hellevator.
Also why the third mini album is called 'clé: levanter' and not 'clé 3: levanter' is because there is no third key they're the key opening whatever paves their way to their own success.
As levanter concludes it's chapter in the clé series the two moons collide in the new world.
