I got off from the bed and got ready for office. After that day Ma and Jivika never bothered me. It amazed me when they said i didn't need to make breakfast anymore. Even ma stopped taunting me regarding money.

And Dad i barely seen him these days. He must be under lots of pressure. Those loan sharks are really something. I have to do something. I couldn't ask for more money. My salary was already gone this month. I sighed and went downstairs.

I saw Sidharth getting out of his car. Thank God now i can ask for lift.

"Sidharth can you please give me a lift?" I asked him.

"Sure. Actually I came to talk to you. That's better actually I can talk freely in car" he said and I got on the car.

"Divya why did you leave last night?" I stiffened at his questions. The memories of last night flashed on my mind.

He noticed my uneasiness. " Divya just tell me once. Did that bastard misbehave with you?"

I lost my voice. I didn't know why I didn't able to say anything.

"Divya did he touched you inappropriately?"

"No Sidharth what are you saying?" I gulped down.

" why the hell you leave then ?" I could feel his frustration.

"Aryan got angry not seeing me in the office." I replied

"Why? You are not his girlfriend for Fuck's sake. You are just an employee. Was it needed to spoil our date. Ahh i forgot that bastard can do anything to destroy my happiness."

"Why do you hate him so much Sidharth? He is your business rival. Don't take it personally"

He frowned at my words." Are you taking his side now?"

"No Sidharth i am stating the fact. Don't bother yourself by hating him. This is not acceptable"

"Divya did you by any chance develop any feelings for Aryan?"

I was shocked. I didn't see that coming. " what are you talking about Sidharth? He is just just my boss "

"Are you telling me or reminding yourself that he is your boss." He looked at me.

"You are getting me wrong"

" That's fine Divya. You can have feelings for him. Afterall he is rich, handsome. He is everything a girl could ask for. He is far better than me. It's possible to catch feelings for such a person " He cut me off

"That's that's not true Sidharth. He is just my boss. That's it. I don't have any feelings for him" i assured him.

"Are you sure Divya?"

That sentence rang in my mind again," are you sure Divya?" Yeah I am sure or not.

" Yes I'm sure. I love you Sidharth."

"Keep telling yourself that" he looked away from me.

Soon we reached the office. I hurriedly got out of his car. I didn't want to face any questions anymore. I bade him good bye and walked towards the elevator.

After sometime i reached the top floor but Aryan was not there. Marco informed me that he left for some business. I took the chance to escape.

I always got hella bored in this top floor as no one work there. This floor is only for the CEO. I took my bag and went to see Jennie.

They were discussing something gathering around Jennie's desk. As I went near them someone pulling me into the crowd.

"Hey Divya tell me about Sir's plan this year"

I frowned at the question" what are you guys discussing about?"

"Aree Sir's birthday is in next week. Aryan Raichand's birthday is one of the greatest in Mumbai. It's like a Ball"

I nodded." Don't tell me you wasn't aware of this?"

I smiled awkwardly. " oh God Divya you are sir's personal assistant. It's your duty to arrange his birthday."

"But he didn't tell me anything about this." I replied

"Maybe he thinks you can't handle anything" someone mocked.

"Stop blaming Divya. It's not her fault. She is new here" Jennie came to my rescue.

"Divya don't be sad. Sir never organised his birthdays. It always his elder sister who arranged the party for him." I nodded.

Soon they started discussing what to wear to impress Aryan. These girls are always ready to get naked to impress him. Shameless bitches.

"Jennie is it necessary for everyone to attend the party." I asked as I was planning to skip it in my mind.

"Well not for everyone but for you it's mandatory" she smirked.

"Why?" I couldn't help but ask

"Ask your dear sir that question. Now leave. I saw him taking the elevator. Soon he is gonna ask for your presence" she chuckled.

"Oh shoot. I have to go bye bye" I left.
