Sunoo was laying in bed, not moving at all. ‘Ugh…my head.’ He tried to get up but his body was burning and he had no strength.

He was sick.

The boy cursed himself mentally. He still had to go to work, but how could he when he couldn’t even sit up, let alone get ready for the day. But he couldn’t miss a day of work, his boss would kill him. Tears started brewing in his eyes. He cursed himself again. Even if he’s gotten older, he still can’t control his emotions. He gets frustrated so easily and he hates it.

Right at that moment he got a phone call. 

He looked at the name. Jungwon. He groaned and wiped his tears with the little energy he had. He cleared his throat and answered the phone.

“Hey Sun, did you eat yet?”

“E-eat? I just woke up..” Sunoo whispered as his throat burned, especially when he spoke.

Jungwon’s brows furrowed. “Baby? Are you okay? Are you sick? I can get you some medicine.”

“N-no, I’m okay. My throat’s just a little dry…”

Jungwon was going to ask again but he smiled, if there was something wrong Sunoo would tell him. “Okay sleepy head, drink some water and don’t forget to eat”

“Okay”

“I love you” Sunoo couldn’t help but smile, “I love you too”

They end the call and Sunoo lets his arm drop next to him. He never lied to Jungwon before, what would he have to lie about? But he didn’t want Jungwon to leave his work just to take care of him all because he went to the supermarket without a sweater yesterday.

Though he did need medicine. His head was pounding and his body pain was pretty extreme. He decided to call his best friend Ni-ki. 

“Heyyy! What’s up?”

“Hey Ni-ki” He said weakly.

“Sunoo? You good?” Ni-ki asked, concerned.

“C-can you buy some medicine for me please? I’ll pay you back, I promise” Sunoo rasped out.

“What’s wrong?”

“My whole body hurts and my head is pounding…”

"𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.. 𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐛𝐢𝐭"

After 30 minutes the front door opened. Sunoo, confused, walked towards the door. ‘Ni-ki doesn’t have spare keys to my apartment…’

His eyes widened as he saw Jungwon standing in front of him holding a bag. When Jungwon turned around he ran up to Sunoo.

“Baby, are you okay? You should be resting. Did you eat?” Jungwon asked while scanning Sunoo worriedly. 

“Wonnie? W-why are you here? Don’t you have work?” 

Jungwon looked at him and sighed. “Ni-ki told me you were sick..” Sunoo looked to the side, fidgeting with his fingers. “Why didn’t you tell me? Why’d you lie?” 

Now it was Sunoo’s turn to sigh. “I-I didn’t want to disturb you…I know you’re stressed with work and I didn’t want to add stress” Sunoo was fighting the tears that were threatening to fall.

Jungwon smiled warmly at his cute boyfriend. “Oh baby…” He cupped Sunoo’s face and wiped his tears away. “You’ll never stress me out” He pulled Sunoo in and hugged him. 

They pulled away after the long hug. “Let’s give you your medicine now.” Sunoo nodded.

After Sunoo took his medicine the two boys cuddled in their living room to watch a movie together. Of course Sunoo protested as he was afraid of Jungwon getting sick, but Jungwon reassured him that he would be fine.
