With all your gear packed and exactment rushing through your blood, you head out to clear the old ranger outpost of bandits.
You: Levi said there should at least be four or five bandits occupying the outpost. I'm no stranger to combat thanks to all that sparing with father in the yard.
From the info Captain Levi gave you, the outpost has a hill over looking it that's used as a small lookout post. You decide to use that to get a layout of the outpost.
As you approach the foot of the hill, you slow your steps and lower yourself low to the ground to better sneak up on any bandits that my be keeping watch.
As you reach the top, you spot a single bandit standing watch.
With a quick motion you rush up to the guard and slash the back of his legs causing him to kneel, before he can scream, you grip your hand around his mouth and drive the edge of your axe into his skull.
As his body goes limp, something your father said to you echoes in your head.
Fathers advice: When you take the life of another for the first time, it will stick with your for eternity.
You stair at the lifeless body at your feet.
You start to feel guilt for killing him, but then you push it aside as you know this man is a bandit. He's no doubt killed, harmed and even robbed many people.
You check his gear. On him are two daggers, a couple throwing knifes and a coin pouch. you decide to take all of it as it might come in handy.
You creep up to the guard post and examine the outpost.
You: This is the outpost? it looks more like a run down tower turned into a hideout. Good thing Captain Levi wants it cleared out rather then captured.
As your over looking the outpost you count the remaining bandits and their positions.
First one is guarding the ladder.
